Is it evil for me to want Remus to hurt? I mean, heart-breakingly hurt. Because his heart is breaking. I still don't believe that he deserves Severus' company, and I'm quite frankly starting to abhor stories where Severus and Remus reconcile so simply, forgetting the pain that Remus' friends and act of bystanding had caused Severus. Not to mention the years of animosity between them that occured.
This anger had actually inspired most - if not all - of my stories, no matter how short they may be.
I want a story where Severus is happy, and Remus is not. Is that so unreasonable?
I've honestly found some arguments against my own claim, such that Remus is a werewolf and has endured the pain of isolation, discrimination etc... and that Severus' memories are just one-side of the story, and blahblahblah etcetera...
But I'll be damned if I still feel fiercely indignant over most author's treatment of Severus in Snupin (aka Snape/Lupin) stories. I really think they're all too lenient on him (REMUS THAT IS).
...which is probably why I've decided to be the anti of that. I'll make sure he hurts.
(( I still love the character. As in I'm glad that he exists. I just think that Severus deserves more.))
