Some WoW Geekiness...
I'm a fuckin' whiz on World of Warcraft Auction House. I wonder, could I be bothered to apply the same level of research and energy to, say, eBay? I'm not sure... in the AH's, I stick to buying and selling needful items in terms of the game. Ebay is on a much larger scale, and who the hell can determine what people need, what would be a definite sale?
(I only bother to mention this stuff because, on my server, alliance side, rugged leather has had ridiculous price ranges since they started stacking to 20 pieces. As in, yesterday, a couple fucktards had them listed at upwards of 20g each. However, this morning there was about 20 stacks for low bids (1.5g) on a short duration, and I won them all. I'm still basking in the afterglow. MONEY, HERE I COME.)
