So I was reading Anne of Green Gables for “a book from your childhood” and then it made me cry? Which I didn’t expect because I’ve read this book a bunch of time, I knew what happened and didn’t remember crying in the past.  So I read Anne of Avonlea for my childhood book instead. This challenge is going to be surprisingly Montgomery heavy (I could probably fit two more books of hers but I won’t, because come on) (but I’ve still started to re-read Anne of the Island even if it’s not for the challenge) (I also have two trilogies to finish and those books won't count for the challenge either so that's not ideal)

Still looking for recommendations for a writer whose initials are S.Q. (stupid French spelling of a Breton name making my life complicated) in case something comes to mind?
