Rarewomen 2014
Dear Rarewomen Author,
Congratulations! You are writing me a story about LADIES and therefore you are fabulous. You can also find me on tumblr if you'd like more of a sense of my preferences/personality/etc.
In general, I like banter (witty or otherwise), ladies being awesome, ladies being friends, happy endings, bittersweet endings, character vignettes, domesticity, daring capers, literary references (if appropriate), and seemingly unrequited love becoming requited at last. Obviously, all of these do not have to be in one fic. I'm a warm, fuzzy person in general (goes with the whole early childhood educator thing), but I don't object to dark and twisty if it fits the canon.
Brooklyn Nine Nine
Brooklyn Nine-Nine is my favorite new show this season and I love the ladies on it! I love Rosa's terrifying badassery and her not-so-secret affection for her team. I love Amy's honor student work ethic and good-heartedness. I love Gina's... Gina-ness. I would adore backstory about any of these ladies. I would adore a story about all of them working together as a team. I would adore a story about Rosa/Amy or Rosa/Amy/Jake (with a focus on the ladies, of course). High school AU? Space AU? Superhero AU? I am here for it all, basically. My only request is no Rosa/Boyle, though I do like him.
I don't have much more to add to this request! I love, love, love all of the characters, so a ladies-focused piece featuring the whole ensemble is also welcome. I think Terry has managed to keep his hold on the Favorite Character spot, but #2 is pretty much everyone else.
Alphas
I have to pour one out for Alphas, the show that shouldn't have been canceled. I loved Rachel and Nina's friendship, and I totally shipped them. I would love more about their relationship, friendly or romantic! Feel free to hand-wave as much of the series finale as you need.
I didn't want to make my request too shippy for the non-shippers, but I am super curious about whether Nina and Rachel tested Rachel's, er, sensitivity to kissing while they were living together. But friendship fic is also welcome!
The Lizzie Bennet Diaries
One of the things I enjoyed most about the series was all the ladies. I adored them all, including the ones not in the tags for this challenge. Feel free to write me future fic about all of them hanging out, or backstory featuring the Bennets. I love Gigi/Lydia, so anything about them (friendship or romantic) is entirely welcome.
In addition, if you wanted to write Gigi + Caroline backstory, I'd be all over that. If you're going to put Caroline in your fic, please do her more right than the series.
Gyeongseong Scandal | Capital Scandal
MORE CHA SONG JOO IS ALWAYS THE ANSWER. I would read fic about her reading the phone book. I'm sure she would make the act beautiful, heartbreaking, and ever so slightly wicked.
Ah, Capital Scandal, show of the famous [spoiler] that had my roommate and me literally crying on the floor. I have a fever and the only cure is more Cha Song Joo.
