what it takes to come alive
pocky_slash asked, What's your dream S3 of Bomb Girls? For, uh, January 8th. We're playing a little catch-up here at Chez Teacher. Bear with me, guys and dolls!
Here's the part where I admit that I had to read a recap of Bomb Girls 2.12 because I didn't remember anything about the boring parts, otherwise known as Gladys's storyline with Whatshisface. ANYWAY. In my dream S3 of Bomb Girls, the following things happen:
1) Gladys dates Kai Lo! IT WOULD BE SO MAGNIFICENT. Gladys could continue to take on the world and Kai Lo would call her on her shit! Gladys's parents would FREAK, which would offer ample storylines.
2) Lorna and Vera somehow end up running the factory, because they are unstoppable forces of awesome. Can you IMAGINE them revolutionizing the workforce for women everywhere? I would die, literally die. LITERALLY!!!
3) Betty and Reggie are in some kind of situation where they must become best friends. Are they now shift supervisors because Lorna and Vera are running the entire factory? You be the judge!
4) If we must accept the S2 murder storyline, somehow we must get all charges against Betty dropped. Does Lorna claim that some ingredient in the bombs sometimes causes violent hallucinations? I don't know. TV magic! (This is why I don't do stupid storylines, because then you write yourself into a corner.)
5) Lorna and Vera hire Marco's mom as the factory caterer. I just want some foodporn.
6) Vera can date whoever she damn pleases, Marco or otherwise.
7) Now that Kate is a little more comfortable with the idea that she has a sexuality, any sexuality, she gets to spend an entire season coming to terms with being super in love with Betty. Plus more singing, because Disney Princess. Music would be a nice vehicle for this storyline--maybe Kate gets a job that involves singing, and that independence makes her feel more comfortable in her own skin. An entire five minutes of 3.12 is devoted to Kate and Betty's first time, a tender yet ridiculously hot night of passion.
8) In S4, the war is miraculously over. The entire season rests on one fierce debate: should Kate and Betty get a cat or a dog for their household? Lots of baby animals are held.
