it's a jolly holiday
Hello, Internet! I am on vacation! 
fahye is here and we have been eating ALL THE THINGS and hanging out with ALL THE PEOPLE and soon there will be MORE PEOPLE and everything is lovely in general. ALSO. INTERNET. WE FINISHED THE FIC WE'VE BEEN WORKING ON FOR A WHOLE YEAR.
Prayers for the Living [DW link] [AO3 link] (XMFC, Charles/Erik, ~30k) - AU from midway through the film, looking at what might have happened if Azazel had (sensibly) teleported to Russia and Emma had (sensibly) gone recruiting baby mutants. In which Moira is badass, actions have consequences, and Charles and Erik manage to have some feelings when they're not racing around the country.
We had such a grand old time writing this, except for all the bits in the middle where we were like I JUST WANT TO BE FINISHED. Hilariously enough, the fic was so plot-heavy that we had to do a "sexy edit" where we stuck in bits of sexual tension between Charles and Erik between them rushing around on rescue missions.
We don't have any hard and fast drinking game rules for the fic, but there are definitely a lot of instances in which Charles is cheerfully unscrupulous about his telepathy, Erik goes from a coherent internal monologue to kill, and either Charles or Erik ends up passed out in the other's arms after battle.
