"She is my hero."

Here it is, your long-awaited fandom update! (Was... anyone waiting? Just me? All right then.) Big news first: I started my Glee season three rewrite. It's entitled Keep on Chasing a Dream, hosted on AO3, and on its third episode! I am averaging 10k a chapter, which is ri-goddamn-diculous. People, I am a slacker of the highest order, but apparently ensemble fic for a huge ensemble requires a lot of words. WHO KNEW.

I am all caught up with Korra! KORRAAAAAA. LIN BEI FONG. I CAN'T. LIN BEI FONG. EVERYONE'S HERO. Her last scenes GUTTED me. Every single tear. She knew that at BEST she would be captured and stripped of her bending. Uggghhhhh every feeling.

LoK has h-u-g-e pacing problems, of course. I can't remember if it was episode eight or nine that REALLY felt like two episodes crammed into one, but this season has way too much going on in it. IF ONLY THE LOVE SQUARE HAD BEEN CUT. Why not just straight up ship Mako and Korra, show? :( I love all the characters, but Mako only if you dial him back to episode two or so.

To end on a positive note: LIIIIIIIIIN. ASAMIIIIIIIIII. KORRAAAAAAAAAAAA.

I also saw Snow White and the Huntsman, which not coincidentally led to meeting some awesome Boston-based fans! There was ice cream and transforming into velociraptors! Er, post-movie, not in the actual movie. The actual movie was... beautiful and incoherent. It had a TERRIBLE script, but also Snow White in armor. AND EXTREMELY DISTURBING FAIRIES. /non-spoilery review
