Even more surprising than Gwen's success convincing the team to hold a "pot luck dinner" was the fact that everybody participated.
Tosh served exquisite cups of a golden tea that was amazing when you slowed down and used all your senses. Jack produced several exotic fruits which complemented Ianto's tasteful cheeseboard. Owen brought a shepherd's pie that was probably from Sainsbury's, but as he'd gone to the trouble of transferring it to his own dish, he got credit for effort. And owning a dish.
Besides, it wasn't like Gwen had slaved over her offering. Rhys made amazing custard tarts.
