Monday - lift and walk
Lifted weights in the morning before the day got crazy with meetings. Felt good to get back in the gym! Started out with 15 mins of core work, then did all sorts of lifts including 20lb kettlebell swings, 75lb squat, 60lb bench press, assisted pull-ups, curls, leg curls, triceps pull-down, and other assorted exercises. Finished out with PT stretches and strengthening for glutes & hips.
Treadmill desk but forgot to track how long/how far. Oops!

Got out early and did my run at the beginning of the workday. Wasn't overly fast but not terribly slow either. Just a solid run. It was already hot when I went out. BLEH. But this was my 18th 10kTuesday in a row! :D

Thursday - walk & Short Track Race
3.1 miles on the treadmill desk
Started out in the 4th and final Short Track Race at Sunrift, and was on track to easily take 1st place among the ladies. Unfortunately after 2 laps I got a flat tire and had to drop out of the race. I still placed 3rd (but only because there were only 3 women). I was bummed!
Friday - yoga
Finally made it back to yoga Friday. Nice stretches!
Saturday - mountain bike
Scott and I got a babysitter for D for the first time (other than family watching him) so we could go for a long mountain bike ride. It was great! We rode at Trace Ridge in Pisgah, total of 16 miles and ~1800ft of climbing. The ride was great though - started out with a quick downhill singletrack section, then several miles of climbing on gravel roads. The rest was up and down on single/double track and was lots of fun. Several creek crossings and nice cascades along the side of the trail. Was a great day!
Sunday - run
Got out for a short and early 4 miles around the neighborhood before the heat set in. Nothing spectacular, just a standard run.
