Two More of Watson's stories

In a nice moment of insomnia I finished two more Holmes's and Watson's adventures!  The Boscombe Valley Mystery and The Five Orange Pips.
Boscombe Valley was rather sad, when you got to the murderer's reason for killing.  I did enjoy it, but don't quite picture myself just picking it up again for re-reading fun.  (Like Scandal in Bohemia. Don't let Rachel McAdam's performance fool you, Irene Adler was awesome.)
Orange Pips (in addition to making me think of Gladys Knight every time I read the word "pips") ticked me off.  I don't enjoy reading about the KKK, especially when they pretty much get away with their hateful crap.  Even if it is fiction, and even if the culprits didn't survive the story, I hate it.  But, we did get to see Holmes get angry.

I find I like Watson more than I expected to.  He's not a useless idiot, like he can end up being portrayed.  The doctor picks up on things very well.

I think if I ever get a pair pets, like kittens or puppies or birds, I'll name them Sherlock and Mycroft.  What awesome, weird names.

I bought Sherlock Holmes yesterday, and only had time to look at a few special features.  Mom and I are going to watch the entire movie tonight.  I watched The Soloist this morning, which was good, and thought provoking, though not very "entertaining" and there is the possibility that I'll watch the Shaggy Dog tonight.

If I actually do watch three RDJ movies in one day, does that mean I need help?  Is it an addiction by this point?  If so, I figure it will burn itself out, like all my other obsessions have before now.

movie, book, sherlock holmes, mystery, rdj
