When
drjeff says MEME, I say HOW HIGH?
The LJ Social Meme (aka the "Let's Take a Look at my User Info" meme)!
Number of journal entries: 791
Number of people on your friends list: 200
Person who introduced you to LJ: Writer, genius, and former condomate Jesse, aka
writesthings.
Still friends with this person: Yes, but I got the crazy idea to move to Portland while he stayed in bad-ass LA, so it's been a while since we've hung out.
How many people have you introduced to LJ: SEVEN!
List everyone on your friends list who you have met in person: I've been keeping a running tally
in this here post.
Total # of LJers met: About 150 so far.
Anyone on LJ you can't stand: Um. There are folks whose online personalities rub me the wrong way, but that's a petty thing on my part as opposed to a basis for disliking anyone for who they are. So, no. But
drjeff is my sworn nemesis.
Name one person on your friends list you would most like to meet: Close call, but probably
stereolabrat, just because she's so funny that she makes me cry. I've met many that I've wanted to because of what they write or post, and have really enjoyed finding out more about the people behind the screen names.
Ever ban someone from commenting in your journal: Yes.
Number of comments: Posted: 24,083; Received: 11,472
Biggest pet peeve about LJ: None. A few minor irritations from time to time, but isn't that the case with everything?
Do you feel close to most of the people on your friends list: Many of them.
How many journals on LiveJournal do you have: A few. The problem is that I can't remember what the other ones are or why I made them. I started one as a dreams journal, but ended up incorporating the entries into this blog.
Communities I currently own/maintain: I started
patentgeeks and
artifaction, the latter of which is all but inactive. I co-mod
portlanders, which also seems to be pretty quiet lately.
QUESTION: if you're among those I've had the fortune to meet, any thoughts you want to share about it? For example, I'm curious if I'm much different online than in person.
