One problem of Mordred's is fixed, but not the other. Gaheris has taken to hiding outside, deep in the forest, because something in it stills his fear and makes it a little easier, just as when it first happened the woods succoured him and shielded him and pushed away his knowledge for a while; he frequently doesn't come back to the house at night

Tom's crackplotting has worn off and he's back to being a little crazy himself. He is walking about looking for the tree from before. The tree where so many things happened. Now that he can remember them, he wants to try and knock it down again.

He notices Gaheris out of the corner of his eye recognizes his trouble, and gives him a nod.

Gaheris stills uncomfortably at someone foriegn in his space, and doesn't do anything in return except look, and wipe at his cheek--there's something on it, something wet, and--blood. ah. he wipes it off on his clothes with a slightly convulsive movement.

Tom keeps an overly healthy distance and finally speaks. "Hello." His fingers twitch a little when he sees the blood. He remembers stabbing Rosier all too well.

A person as disturbed as he is is not good for him at all, and he gains a new kind of trouble behind his eyes, something akin to panic. "--Salve," quickly.

Typist: It's a good thing Tom is getting better and is probably slightly less disturbed.

Oh. Latin. Tom learned Latin, just like all young gentlemen of quality in his time did and he can speak it rather well only with a very odd Southern English accent. "Salve." He bows. "I am Thomas Jones."

"Gaheris."

"Why do you wander, sir?"

"I'm just--walking." He reaches and brushes the leaves out of his hair quickly.

"Yes." Tom closes his eyes and breathes deeply, enjoying the fresh air. "There are too many eyes inside. Too many people watching."

"I don't go there."

[notallworthy]

"I have to. They are afraid he may find me if I am about in the woods." Tom looks serious. "He did once."

"Then why are you here?"

[notallworthy]

"Because I don't like it inside. And I am not afraid of him finding me." He absently touches Mabon's knife.

Mrk. Weaponry. Gaheris edges back towards the woods. "Good for you," his discomfort rising a little of his unfrightened self.

Tom sits on the grass. "I did it again." He holds his head in his hands. "I'm sorry."
