Inauguration Day 2009
Watching all the pomp and circumstance over today's Inauguration it still hasn't completely sunken in that Barack Obama will be our president in 30 minutes. Part of me wishes that Jamie and I had driven down to Washington D.C. to just be there for today's events. The other part is glad that I can watch everything unfold on t.v. with an unobstructed view. We will be popping the champagne at 12:01 p.m. to celebrate this new era in American politics.
