Computer woes
Ribbit Jr. now has a broken hinge, just as Ribbit did before. And my warantee expired 2 months ago. Fuck.
At least this time it became quite obvious to me immediately that the hinge had broken, so I haven't damaged the screen case as best as I can tell and don't plan on closing it much at all until the new hinge gets here. I was not so lucky with Ribbit, since the broken hinges ended up destroying the case and making me replace that as well. I was also relying on my dad to do it, which took forever, and then ended up having me do most of the work myself (quite easily, I might add, and without leftover pieces). This time, I'm planning on opening the computer up as soon as I get the hinge in the mail, if not sooner.
On the bright side, I guess, is the fact that I'll be opening up my computer for a really good reason and might as well dust it while I'm at it, maybe see where all of the air flow gets blocked.
