Today, I got a comment on the most recently posted chapter of Gravity. In all honesty, it surprised me - after all, I haven’t updated in a while, and so I decided to look through the fic. As I was thinking about it and reading it, I felt discontent with the story.
Something about Gravity has always been plaguing me, especially since the chapters tend to be posted after such lengthy intervals, and because I’ve also felt like I was losing an attachment to the story that I so loved when I started out. Whenever I wrote the story, I had this feeling that I wasn’t writing the story as well as I could have. Although I’ve always very much in love with the plot & the world I’ve built, I’ve come to a point where I feel like my execution of the story is sorely lacking and that I can’t go on with it if I continue to feel this way.
So, after a lot of thought, I’ve decided that I’ll be discontinuing Gravity.
BUT, that doesn’t mean I’m abandoning plot, and I’m not deleting the chapters I’ve got posted. For the summer, I’ve got a lot in mind - and one of my plans is to re-write Gravity. I’ll be making several changes to the plot, with most of them going into Jaejoong & Yunho’s initial romance as well as other things that I felt I didn’t devote enough attention to when I first wrote this story.
Despite the changes, I hope you guys continue to support the fic, and really, thank you for all the support you’ve already shown it. I’ll do my best to make sure that when I return with the redux of Gravity, it’ll be even better than the original.
As always, thank you guys so much! ♥
