Title: Alluring Distractions
Beta: minniesaranghae
Pairing: Yunho/Jaejoong
Rating: R
Genre: Romance, Fluff, Humor
Summary: He wasn’t too attracted to fame, but he was most definitely attracted to Jung Yunho.

A really late birthday fic for one of the loveliest people I know, rainycakes. ♥

“You’re really young.”

They were the first lines out of his co-star’s lips that weren’t scripted, and Jaejoong turned his head to look at the older man seated on the office chair. He crossed his arms and leaned against the prop room’s doorframe frowning.

“Is there a problem?”

“How old are you?” The man questioned as he clasped his hands together and placed his feet on top of the table to study Jaejoong, “You look exactly like what the producers are looking for.”

“Isn’t that a good thing then?” Jaejoong shot back as he crossed his arms, “Anyway, I just turned nineteen a few days ago, and I know that you just turned twenty nine yesterday.”

“Mhm,” the older actor said with a shrug as he looked out the room to gaze at the director and stage assistants who were discussing matters concerning the backdrop, “It isn’t something that I wanted to be reminded of.”

“Twenty nine is a good age,” Jaejoong said with a drawl, “People can get better with age, like wine.” He shrugged and ran a hand through his messy hair, “As a fanboy of yours for several years now, I can say that you look better this year than last year.”

“I’m flattered, thank you.”

“Do you mind if I call you Yunho?” Jaejoong questioned as he left his spot by the doorframe and took a seat on the desk where Yunho’s legs were propped up. He crossed his legs and smiled brilliantly.

Yunho glanced at the younger man and raised an eyebrow due to their proximity before he replied, “No, it’s perfectly fine.”

Jaejoong tilted his head and smiled innocently, “Just to add on to what I said previously, I’m a huge fan. I have a poster of you from your early days pinned on the wall of my room in my parents’ house.”

Yunho chuckled, “Something tells me that a kid like you brings a lot of trouble to management. I can see it in your eyes.”

“What else do you see in my eyes?”

Yunho drew his long legs off the table and stood up to leave, “A flirt,” he commented, an amused smile tugging at his lips, “Behave yourself, and I think you’ll be able to make it in this business.”

“We’re not done filming yet,” Jaejoong said as he turned to look at Yunho before he walked off set, “Where are you going?”

He watched as Yunho muttered a few words to the makeup artist’s assistant. Yunho came back and stood away from Jaejoong, and just as Jaejoong was about to ask the older man about his request, the assistant came back with a kit.

She promptly fixed Jaejoong’s hair, neatening it and styling it, before she looked to Yunho for approval.

“It looks much better, thank you,” Yunho drawled before he walked over to where Jaejoong was and toyed with a strand of his newly styled hair, “You’ll thank me for this kid - trust me.” He said with a smirk before he patted Jaejoong’s cheek and walked away.

Jaejoong blushed slightly and stood up, only to see that Yunho was talking to the director and pointing in his direction.

“How do I look?” Jaejoong questioned, still somewhat unsure as to what had been done to his look exactly.

The director studied him for a few seconds before he broke out into a huge grin, “It looks perfect. You’ll become a star after this film, I’m sure. Not a single female in Seoul will be able to look away.”
o-o-o
“So, I think I should be crediting my success to you,” Jaejoong drawled as he sat down on the bar stool next to Yunho’s and leaned his face against the palm of his hand. He smiled flirtatiously, “Thank you.”

Yunho chuckled and took a sip of his scotch, “You don’t have to thank me.”

“You helped me out. I don’t know if people would’ve noticed me if you hadn’t changed my look back then,” Jaejoong answered as he studied Yunho’s face, noticing the slightly noticeable scar on his cheek that only made him look more masculine and appealing rather than becoming an imperfection on his perfectly sculpted face.

The older actor shook his head, “It’s not all about looks you know.”

“I know, but good looks help, don’t they?” the younger man asked with an amused smile as his right hand moved closer to Yunho’s, “I’ll attract fans with my good looks then have them stick with me because of my talent and personality. Don’t you think that’s a good plan?”

“It’ll do.”

Jaejoong pouted and drummed his fingers on the bar counter, “You’re supposed to be teaching me how to go about the acting world. I’m young and inexperienced, don’t you worry about me?”

“You don’t seem to need my help,” Yunho said with small smirk as he tilted his head to gesture at the woman who was blatantly ogling Jaejoong from afar and fiddling with her paper napkin and pen, “You’ve already attracted plenty of women -“

“I’m not interested in women.”

Yunho raised an eyebrow, “Are you sure about that?”

Jaejoong nodded slowly and smirked, “Quite.”

The older man chuckled and took another sip of his drink, “You’re not saying that just to please me, are you?”

“Of course not,” Jaejoong replied, “But I am trying to please you though.”

“I don’t sleep around,” Yunho said bluntly as he glanced down at his drink. He raised his eyes and studied Jaejoong carefully, “If you’re here to look for some career advancement, I advise you to leave now.”

Jaejoong chuckled and leaned in closer, “I don’t sleep around either, and I can assure you that I’m interested in you not because I want advancement in my career, but because I think you and I would be good together.”

“I think that’s a pretty grand assumption for a nineteen year old,” Yunho replied as he held up his glass midway, about to take a sip, “Are you sure you’re not saying all these things because you’re drunk?”

“I’m not drunk, I’m just being honest,” Jaejoong replied before he reached over, took Yunho’s glass of scotch and took a sip. He licked his lips deliberately and slowly before he placed the glass back down, “I’m not childish enough to lose control in a public setting.”

“I don’t start relationships with children,” Yunho answered as he traced the rim of his glass with his finger.

Jaejoong chuckled and leaned over to whisper into Yunho’s ear while he placed his hand on the other man’s knee, “Good thing I’m not a child then.” He pulled away with a devilish smirk, “I’m a -“

“Baby.”

“What?” Jaejoong questioned, startled by Yunho’s interruption. He frowned and furrowed his brows, “I’m not a -“

Yunho downed the last of his drink and smirked, “I’ll see you around baby,” he said as gently caressed Jaejoong’s cheek before he walked away and left Jaejoong alone at the bar counter.

Jaejoong sat in silence, his cheeks burning. He bit his lip and tried to hide the delight that was spreading across his body as soon as he had heard Yunho talk to him so affectionately.

Baby. The thought of Yunho saying the word again sent his heart racing.
o-o-o
“So…” Jaejoong bit his lip and looked at the makeup artist through the mirror and fidgeted in his seat, “I heard you work with Jung Yunho a lot.”

Jiwon raised an eyebrow and set the foundation down onto the vanity table before she reached over and picked up a brush, “Well, I guess you could say that. Heechul likes him a lot, and I work a lot with Heechul, so…yeah, I guess I do.”

“Is he nice?”

“Of course he is. Haven’t you worked with him before? Both of you worked together on that show that made you famous -“ Jiwon’s mouth formed a small o, and she smirked at Jaejoong, “You like him, don’t you?”

“Of course I do, he’s Jung fucking Yunho.”

“No, as in like like,” Jiwon said as she reached for some eye shadow, “It’s not uncommon you know. Lots of Yunho’s co-stars or co-workers end up getting attracted to him, but he usually doesn’t let anything go too far.”

“Last serious relationship?”

Jiwon chuckled, “Do I look like a gossip columnist to you?”

“I’m sure you know.”

“He doesn’t do flings, and he only looks for serious relationships. His last one was probably…two years ago?”

Jaejoong’s mouth fell open, “Are you serious?”

“Heechul says he’s picky with his partners,” Jiwon continued as she put the eye shadow down to look through her kit for eyeliner, “Or more like…I don’t know. I just know he’s a good boyfriend, but he’s usually the one that breaks up with his boyfriends.”

“Boyfriends…meaning he’s definitely gay?”

“Ack,” Jiwon scrunched up her nose, “You won’t tell anyone, right?”

“Of course not, because that works to my advantage and also because I already kind of knew that,” Jaejoong replied, a triumphant smile on his handsome face, “He doesn’t like talking about his personal life at all, and I don’t know what kind of people he’s into.”

“He likes honesty, and if he likes someone, he’s usually quite caring,” Jiwon replied as she fiddled with her brushes, “I mean, Yunho’s professional and warm, but if he likes someone, usually he sets them aside and treats them differently.”

“How different is -“

Jaejoong’s manager peered into the room, “What’s taking so long? Yunho’s been ready for five minutes now -“

“Yunho’s here?”

“I told you that the moment you got to the studio,” the older man replied, a slight note of irritation in his voice. He huffed, “Really Jaejoong, you’ve got to listen to me more often. I say important things, and you rarely seem to listen to me -“

Before Jaejoong’s manager could finish, Yunho stepped into the room and greeted all of them. He turned his eyes to Jaejoong last, and he shot him a small smile, “I guess we’re working together again.”

“Ah…yeah, I guess so.”

“It seems like you’re nervous,” Yunho commented as he looked at Jaejoong the look of amusement evident on his face, “Don’t be. After all, we’ve worked together before, haven’t we? I’m sure you’ll do well.”

Jaejoong blushed and glanced downwards, “Thank you.”

“It’s quite cute that you’re nervous though,” Yunho laughed, “To think that you usually have such a confident look put on in front of the camera, and here you are stuttering in front of me.”

“I’m not stuttering,” Jaejoong snapped, “There must be something wrong with your hearing. It must be because of your age.”

“Jaejoong!”

Yunho rolled his eyes in good humor and shook his head, “Just make sure you’re not a blushing school boy in front of the camera later.” He turned around and left the room, Jaejoong’s manager following behind him and muttering apologies.

Jaejoong turned to Jiwon, “What?”

“He said you were cute.”

“So? A lot of people say I’m cute. Saying I’m cute is actually one of the tamest compliments I’ve ever gotten, most people say that I’m -“

Jiwon rolled her eyes at his arrogance and interrupted, “Jaejoong, Jung Yunho just said you were cute. Jung Yunho. He doesn’t go around calling people cute - I should know. He’s more of the, good job today or you look well kind of person. He does not call anyone cute.”

Jaejoong was silent for a few seconds before he buried his face in his hands, a bright blush creeping across his cheeks, and his heart pounding in his chest as he mumbled into his hands, “Jung Yunho thinks I’m cute!”

Jiwon shook her head as she watched Jaejoong in his deliriously happy state before she turned away to fix her things, “I don’t care how much you fanboy, just make sure you don’t ruin your makeup.”
o-o-o
“So, we meet again.”

Yunho looked up from his phone and raised an eyebrow, “I’m starting to think that you’re stalking me.” He put his phone down onto the table and clasped his hands together, “This is what…the fourth time in two days?”

Jaejoong pulled a chair for himself and sat down, “Well, the two times were purely work related - an interview for the magazine we did that shoot in and the other one was a photo shoot for a different magazine. Besides, meeting you last night in a high class bar shouldn’t be considered as something creepy if we both know the owner.”

“Mhm,” Yunho’s lips quirked into a small smile, “I see you’ve abandoned the blushing schoolboy personality.”

Jaejoong pouted, “It’s not my style.”

“What is your style?” Yunho questioned as he leaned back into his chair and eyed Jaejoong curiously, “Mysterious flower boy?”

“Confident, talkative, pretty boy is my style…or at least, that’s what my agent tells me should be my style,” Jaejoong replied light heartedly as he drummed his fingers on the table, “Do you think it fits me?”

Yunho studied him carefully for a few seconds before he replied, “I think you’re more of a sensitive person than you let on to be, but aside from that, I think you are quite the confident, talkative, pretty boy.”

“Ah, well -“

A lady came over with a jacket in Yunho’s size, and he took it from her before he turned his eyes back to Jaejoong, “My poor baby, is something wrong?”

Jaejoong rolled his eyes and took Yunho’s leather jacket out of his hands, “The jacket you’re buying, it’s beautiful,” he said admiringly as he touched the soft, red leather material.

“Here,” Yunho pulled the jacket off the hanger and helped Jaejoong put it on, his hands gently pulling at the material and making sure it fit the best it could. As soon as he was done, he placed his hands on Jaejoong’s waist and gently tilted him towards the nearby mirror.

Jaejoong felt Yunho’s hands grip at his waist, and as soon as he met Yunho’s eyes in the mirror, he briefly felt himself melt back into Yunho’s grasp before he finally found his tongue and was able to speak, “It’s too big.”

“That’s true,” Yunho said slowly as his hands lingered at Jaejoong’s waist, “It is, after all, in my size and not yours. You still look very handsome in it though.” He then helped Jaejoong pull the jacket off and took it into his hands.

“You undressed me.”

“In an innocent fashion,” Yunho argued as he brushed something off Jaejoong’s shoulder and chuckled, “Children and their imagination.” He smiled at Jaejoong and stepped away.

They stared at each other for a few seconds before Jaejoong decided that it would be better for him to leave. He shifted awkwardly, “Well, I should just let you continue shopping, so I’ll go -“

“Would you like to have lunch together?” Yunho questioned as he slipped on the jacket and checked how it looked on him, “It’ll be my treat - a gift to you and your recent successes.”

“You really don’t have to…” Jaejoong muttered, “I mean, you’re successful too, and you don’t see me treating you to lunch or anything -“

Yunho slipped out of the jacket and handed it over to a nearby sales lady so that she could bring it over to the counter, “You’re new to the business, and I think highly of you. After a year more of success, feel free to return the favor.”

Jaejoong’s lips quirked into a smile, and he studied Yunho with watchful and hopeful eyes, “Is that secretly an invitation for another date?”

The older man paused for a few seconds, and he turned his eyes to look at Jaejoong with unreadable eyes, “If you’re still interested and still willing, then I don’t see what would be wrong in you treating me to lunch.”

Jaejoong took a few steps forward and reached forward to straighten out the collar of Yunho’s shirt, his eyes focused on his hands until he was finished. When he raised his eyes, he blushed slightly and held onto Yunho’s shoulders, “I may be young, but that doesn’t mean my interest will be fleeting.”

Yunho smiled handsomely and chuckled, “We’ll have to see, won’t we?”

“I suppose so, but I guarantee that in a year’s time, I shall be glued to your side and I will be taking you out for an expensive lunch constantly.”

“Glued to my side?”

Jaejoong nodded and grinned, “Of course, because we’ll be dating by then.”

Yunho shook his head in amusement, “Your overconfidence amuses me,” he muttered before he turned away to pay for his jacket at the counter.

“It should be turning you on, not amusing you,” Jaejoong mumbled before he checked himself out in the mirror and turned away to follow Yunho.
o-o-o
Jaejoong crossed the room as soon as he caught sight of Yunho. He ignored his manager’s calls for him to meet someone as he walked faster so that he could catch Yunho before he moved elsewhere.

“Missed me?” Jaejoong questioned with a smile as he took hold of Yunho’s elbow gently in order to stop him from moving any farther. He smiled brightly, “I heard you got another movie deal.”

“I heard you got a commercial.”

Jaejoong chuckled, “Yeah I did, for some perfume. It’s nice to know you’ve been keeping tabs on me. Also, since we’re together, I want your number.”

“Your persistence is overwhelming. You really want my number?” Yunho questioned, raising an eyebrow in amusement. “You truly are hitting on me, aren’t you? Well, I’ll just have to do things the old-fashioned way -“

“Because you’re old?”

“No, because I was raised that way,” Yunho muttered as he placed his arm around Jaejoong’s waist and led him around the room slowly to whisper into the shorter man’s ear, “May I have your number?”

“Are you serious?” Jaejoong asked, obviously startled by the question.

Yunho cocked his head to the side and pulled his arm away from Jaejoong, “Do you think I’m joking?”

“I…I don’t know.”

The older man grinned and tucked back a strand of Jaejoong’s hair, “Well, I suppose you’ll just have to think on that. Excuse me, I have to talk to my manager about my schedule tomorrow.”

Yunho turned away, and Jaejoong was left behind, gaping, before his own manager pulled him aside and chided him for looking so stupid in front of a swarm of people he was supposed to be pleasing.
o-o-o
“Why is Yunho such a confusing fuck?”

Jiwon chuckled and put down the piece of cotton she was holding, “Why, what has he done to your fragile fanboy heart at the present moment?”

Jaejoong made a face at himself in the mirror and pouted, “A few days ago, he asked for my number, and I didn’t believe him, and then he just walked away, and now I haven’t seen him in the longest time, and -“

“Yunho’s not the kind to joke about things like that,” Jiwon supplied, “I don’t see why you didn’t just go ahead and give him your number. You’ve wanted to do that for days now.”

“I was surprised.”

“You chicken.”

“I am not a chicken,” Jaejoong snapped childishly, “You’re the chicken.”

“Why are you calling Jiwon a chicken?” Yunho questioned, swooping into the room and once more surprising Jaejoong into a mini-heart attack. He leaned against the doorframe and crossed his arms, his usual smile gracing his handsome face.

Jaejoong frowned at Yunho through the mirror, “Why do you always pop up in my dressing room?”

“Well, I knocked.”

“I didn’t hear you -“

“Then maybe you’re the one that needs hearing aid, don’t you think?” Yunho laughed at Jaejoong’s irritated expression, and he moved forward to place a paper bag down onto the vanity table, “This is for you.”

Jaejoong glanced at the paper bag before he looked at Yunho, “What is it?”

“That’s for me to know, and for you to find out when I’m not in the room,” Yunho replied as he further enjoyed the confusion on Jaejoong’s face, “Congratulations on that new commercial of yours by the way, I’m sure you have fangirls’ hearts fluttering each time you appear on their television screens.”

“What about your heart?”

“I much prefer the Jaejoong I know in person in comparison to the Jaejoong I see on my television screen,” Yunho answered, his eyes meeting Jaejoong’s and making the other’s heart race, “The real thing is much better, albeit noisier and more annoying.”

Seconds passed between them as Jaejoong tried to process Yunho’s words, and all he could think of to say in reply was, “I’m not…noisy…or…annoying.”

“Yes you are,” Yunho said lightly, “But you’re still my baby anyway, right?”

“Baby?” Jiwon questioned, an eyebrow raised.

Yunho turned to her, “I call him that because he’s young, and -“

“Because he likes me,” Jaejoong cut in, a bright smile on his face, “Actually, I was thinking of calling him daddy, what do you think -“

Jaejoong paused the moment he saw Yunho reach forward and swipe the paper bag off the table. He opened his mouth to protest, but Yunho was already halfway across the room at that point, “You can’t take back a gift!”

“You don’t deserve it!” Yunho shot back before he left the room and quietly shut the door behind him.

“Such an -“

“He likes you.”

Jaejoong lifted his eyes off the table, “You think so?”

“I know so, not just because he calls you baby and got you a gift, and because he dealt with your persistent, annoying flirting for so long,” Jiwon answered as she fixed the makeup, “If Yunho isn’t interested, he makes sure to let the other person know as soon as possible.”

“So…”

“He likes you, so calm down and let me finish your makeup! I swear, you’re so difficult to work with whenever Yunho’s around,” Jiwon grumbled before she began prodding Jaejoong with a brush, “Shut up and squeal in your head.”
o-o-o
Jaejoong was standing alone and stared at his champagne blankly. He was ridiculously bored, and he had a feeling that his cat would probably scratch him to death for forgetting to leave some food before he’d left home four hours ago.

He was a terrible pet owner, and he wouldn’t even have the pleasure of dying alone with twenty two cats that loved him because he’d probably get scratched viciously to death for being a bad owner -

“Oh God, I’m sad.”

A person slid next to him, and Jaejoong paled when he realized that the person was Yunho. The older man smiled charmingly and took Jaejoong’s champagne flute out of his hand, “I didn’t know you were the kind of drunk that got depressed. What’s wrong?”

“My cat is going to murder me.”

Yunho raised an eyebrow, “Excuse me?”

“You heard me,” Jaejoong muttered, “I was trying to think of some way to get out of this party, and then I remembered my cat, who I forgot to feed, and now I feel terrible, but I don’t think my manager will just let me leave because I have to feed my cat because I’m supposed to be here working the room, but all I can think about is my cat and how I’m going to die alone and -“

Yunho cleared his throat, and Jaejoong blushed. The older man finished the champagne and placed it on a waiter’s tray before he pulled at Jaejoong’s sleeve and motioned for him to follow.

“…where are we going?”

“You have a cat to feed, don’t you?” Yunho questioned as he smiled at Jaejoong’s manager, whispered a few words, and somehow got the clearance to take Jaejoong to his apartment.

Jaejoong watched in quiet awe the entire time, and as soon as he was inside Yunho’s car, the only thing that broke his trance was the sound of Yunho repeating his order for Jaejoong to put on his seatbelt.

The drive was mostly silent aside from Jaejoong giving Yunho directions on where to go, and the walk up to Jaejoong’s apartment was quiet as well. It was highly awkward for Jaejoong, but he had no clue on what to say to make things better.

All he could think of was that he was bringing Yunho home.

Oh God.

He just wanted to be suave, cool, and intriguing, but as soon as he entered his apartment and tried to feed Jiji, the stupid cat scratched him, ran away, and humiliated him beyond astronomical levels.

“You were right about your cat hating you,” Yunho commented as he watched Jaejoong try to call out Jiji from underneath the couch. He crossed his arms and leaned against the doorway, “I don’t think he’s coming out.”

“Shut up,” Jaejoong hissed, his face red with embarrassment. He pleaded for Jiji to come out one last time before he gave up and stood up. He walked over to Yunho and frowned, “Are you happy?”

“Happy about what?”

“I’m not very cool and attractive now am I?”

“You’re still attractive, you’re just not cool,” Yunho replied lightly as he patted Jaejoong’s cheek, “But I’ll keep the secret that you’re not cool from everyone so that you can keep your blossoming career.”

“How kind of you,” Jaejoong muttered sarcastically as he waved off Yunho and headed over to the kitchen, “Do you want something to drink?”

“Not really. I should go now.”

Jaejoong bit his lip and nodded, “I guess so. Thanks…for your help. I owe you one.” He turned his back to Yunho and walked over to pick up a t-shirt that was strewn over his couch, “I’ll buy you something when I go to Japan next week -“

“Actually, there is something that I want.”

“What is it?”

“Your number,” Yunho called from the doorway, “I want it.”

Jaejoong paused, and he picked up the shirt off the couch as he mulled over Yunho’s words. He let the other man’s request hang in the air for a bit longer before he finally decided to reply.

“If you want it, reach into my back pocket and get my phone,” Jaejoong said as he turned to look at Yunho, smiling at him mischievously, “A gentleman should work for what he wants, don’t you think?”

Yunho rolled his eyes and walked over to where Jaejoong was. His hand moved slowly, and he reached into Jaejoong’s back pocket only to realize that there was nothing there. He glanced at Jaejoong, and the latter smiled innocently before he pulled his phone out of his front pocket and handed it to Yunho.

“Here you go.”

Yunho took the phone out of Jaejoong’s hand and shook his head, embarrassed at having fallen for Jaejoong’s trick, “I didn’t expect that from you.”

“I may like you, but I’m not easy,” Jaejoong said with a pleased grin, “Do you want to go out for breakfast tomorrow?”

“Will I be guaranteed to be graced with your presence?” Yunho questioned as he entered his number into Jaejoong’s phone, “I don’t like waiting, and I like punctuality. If you’re more than five minutes late, I’m going to leave -“

“I always arrive late,” Jaejoong pouted, “You can’t expect me to be early. I take a long time to wake up, and I move slowly in the morning. Give me a twenty minute time allowance.”

“Ten.”

“Fifteen.”

“Ten.”

“Fine, ten,” Jaejoong huffed and took his phone out of Yunho’s hands as soon as the other man was done. He pocketed it and looked up at him, “I didn’t think you’d be such a grumpy old man.”

“I didn’t think you’d be such an annoying brat.”

“I’ll see you tomorrow baby,” Yunho said teasingly as he pocketed his phone after texting a restaurant address to Jaejoong.

“What, is it too late for you old man?”

“I think it’s past your bed time.”

“Are you going to bring me to bed then?” Jaejoong asked lightly with a wink and a smile that stretched widely across his face.

“Nice try, but no,” Yunho replied with a laugh before he left Jaejoong’s apartment.
o-o-o
Breakfast turned into a daily thing between the two of them. It had been an easy thing during the first two months since Yunho had yet to start filming for his movie and Jaejoong’s drama had just finished, but things turned harder the moment they both became busy.

“This isn’t healthy,” Yunho muttered as he handed Jaejoong a pair of chopsticks, “Do you know how much salt -“

“I’m young, I can handle it,” Jaejoong argued as he took the chopsticks out of the other man’s hand so that he could eat the ramen. He twirled the noodles and shoveled them into his mouth, “I really like your trailer. It’s a lot nicer than mine.”

Yunho looked around and shrugged, “I’m sure you’ll get a nicer trailer as soon as you start your next project. Speaking of which, what’s your current project and what’s your role?”

“It’s called King of Hearts, and I play a well…a pretty boy that pines after the main character and will eventually get his heart broken,” Jaejoong said with a small frown as he stared down the ramen. He looked up at Yunho, “It’s not interesting.”

“A role is still a role,” Yunho replied as he slurped the noodles, “I’ll try to help you get a better role next time. I don’t want you to get type casted into those pretty boy roles that require little effort. I know you can act.”

Jaejoong paused, his chopsticks frozen as he stared at Yunho. He blinked and asked softly, “You’d be willing to help me?”

Yunho nodded, “Of course, you’re my baby, aren’t you?”

Jaejoong blushed and tried to think of something to say, but no words came to mind as his heart fluttered in his chest.

“Anyway, I know someone that’s looking for a - fuck,” Yunho cursed and immediately dropped his chopsticks. He looked up at Jaejoong, “How many packets of ramen did you cook?”

“Four.”

“Fuck, fuck, fuck,” Yunho repeated as he glanced down at the bowl which was nearly empty, “I’m going to die an early death because of you, and why did you cook so many packets? Fuck, fuck, fuck -“

“You said you were hungry,” Jaejoong said with a small smile as he shook his head at Yunho, “Don’t worry about it, really. It’s just a bit of ramen. You won’t die, and your abs won’t go away after just one morning of it.”

“Easy for you to say, you’re still a teenager,” Yunho muttered as he downed a whole glass of water and handed Jaejoong a bottle, “I’m not supposed to be gorging on ramen at…what time is it?”

“Six in the morning,” Jaejoong replied after he checked his watch. He stood up and grabbed his letterman jacket as he left the chair he’d been sitting on, “I have to go film now. I have some sort of scene to do -“

Yunho got off his chart and swiped his car keys off the counter, “Okay then, I’ll drive you to wherever you’re filming. It’s the least I can do for you.”

“I just fed you dangerous amounts of ramen,” Jaejoong shook his head, “You really don’t have to drive me to the filming area. I think you have to start filming soon, and it’d be bad if -“

The trailer door opened, and one of the director’s assistants poked his head through the door, only to raise an eyebrow when he caught sight of Jaejoong. He stared at the young man for a few seconds before he turned his attention to Yunho, “You’re needed on set in five minutes -“

“I’m driving him to wherever he’s filming first,” Yunho interrupted, his tone indifferent and unfeeling, “I’ll be back in a bit.” He turned his head to look at Jaejoong before he waved him over, “Let’s go.”

Jaejoong walked over to him slowly, “It’s really -“

Before he could say another word, Yunho had wrapped his hand around Jaejoong’s wrist and led him past the director’s assistant. They made their way past a curious, tired, and surprised staff, Yunho leading the way.

“But what about your movie -“

“Filming can wait,” Yunho replied calmly, “I want to make sure you get to your filming area safely. I worry about you constantly Kim Jaejoong, so please don’t make me grow grey hair because of the amount of time I spend worrying about you.”

It felt surreal, having Yunho’s hand tugging him gently along the path, muttering complaints that Jaejoong knew weren’t meant, and feeling his own heart pounding harder in his chest with every step.

It all felt so much like a scene from a drama, but it was so much better because everything from the warmth of Yunho’s hand to the gentle touches were all real.

“I think I might be a bit in love with Yunho,” Jaejoong announced one day as he waited for the makeup artists to enter his dressing room. He glanced at his manager, waiting for a response, but the older man said nothing.

Jaejoong picked up a brush and fiddled with it, “You’re supposed to say something.”

“I know.”

“So?”

The older man sighed and looked at Jaejoong, “Just don’t end up looking like a pathetic shell of a man,” Dongwook advised before he turned his eyes back to his Blackberry, “I would also like it if you kept these feelings a secret because we’re still building up your fanbase.”

Jaejoong bit his bottom lip, “Do you think he’s a bit in love with me too?”

Dongwook rolled his eyes, “I’m your agent, not a love guru,” he muttered as he got off his chair and made his way to leave the dressing room, “Anyway, what do you want for dinner? I’ll have someone bring it over -“

“Yunho’s picking me up after filming.”

Dongwook raised an eyebrow, “You’re going out together? Just the two of you? At night? Where?”

“He’s taking me to some kind of club,” Jaejoong said as he turned his chair around and looked at himself in the mirror before he glanced down at his phone, hoping that Yunho would call him sometime soon. “It’s pretty exclusive, and he’s bringing me as his plus one.”

“Your filming starts early tomorrow.”

“I know.”

“Don’t get drunk.”

“I know.”

Dongwook sighed, “Your lovesick puppy behavior disgusts me, please stop looking at your phone waiting for Yunho to call you and look at me.”

Jaejoong raised his eyes and pouted, “I’m not lovesick.”

“Yeah, whatever, and it’s totally normal for -“

Jaejoong’s phone beeped, and a huge smile crossed his face. He glanced down at his phone and read the message from Yunho which basically just discussed the details of their meeting later in the day.

“You’re a good actor, but a terrible liar.”

Jaejoong blushed and glanced down at the screen, “Okay, I might be a little lovesick, but I’m not…” he pouted, “Fine, whatever, I am.”

Dongwook laughed, “Don’t ever forget Jaejoong, your agent always knows best.”

He wasn’t drunk, but Yunho didn’t have to know that.

Yunho was such a gentleman, and he was helping him get to his apartment. His arm was wrapped around Jaejoong’s waist, and every few seconds or so, he would glance at Jaejoong and whisper a few words to make sure he was still okay.

He unlocked the door to Jaejoong’s apartment, and as soon as they were inside, Jaejoong pushed himself against Yunho and slammed the door shut with the weight of their bodies. He buried his face into the other’s chest and said nothing for a few seconds.

“Come on, let’s get you to bed -“

“I like you.”

Yunho froze, and Jaejoong said nothing for a few seconds before he turned his face up to press his lips softly against Yunho’s. Yunho stood still, and Jaejoong ran his hands through the other man’s hair to coax him into responding.

Yunho’s hands went to his waist and slowly pushed him away, but just before Jaejoong tried to wrench out of his grasp and run away, he leaned down and whispered, “Not when you’re drunk.”

“I’m not drunk,” Jaejoong argued softly as he looped his fingers into Yunho’s pants and tugged him closer, “Please? Just…just kiss me, so that I know what I did wasn’t fucking embarrassing and that you’ll still be willing to have breakfast with me every day -“

The older man silenced him with a kiss, and Jaejoong’s eyes fluttered shut as Yunho pulled him closer and shoved his tongue into his mouth. Yunho completely dominated the kiss, his tongue wrapping around Jaejoong’s and exploring every single inch of his mouth. He held onto him so firmly, and Jaejoong could feel him melting in Yunho’s grasp.

It was a long lasting, pleasurable torture, and Jaejoong pouted as soon as Yunho pulled away. He linked his hands behind Yunho’s neck and moved against him suggestively as he bit on his already bruised lower lip, “Why did you stop?”

“You have filming in a few hours -“

“So do you,” Jaejoong breathed out insistently as he began to lead Yunho to his bedroom. As soon as they were inside, he pushed Yunho down onto the bed and clambered over him, “I’ve been very bad.”

“You weren’t drunk.”

“Not really,” Jaejoong whispered as he began to nip at Yunho’s neck and rub against him sensuously, “I just wanted you to -“

Before he could say another word, Yunho flipped them around and had Jaejoong pinned onto the bed. He smirked and began to unbutton Jaejoong’s shirt slowly, “I’m older than you, in case you’ve forgotten. I’ve seen those tricks before.”

Jaejoong whimpered as Yunho pinched his nipple. Yunho chuckled and pulled the rest of the fabric off, “I never play along with those tricks, but seeing as it was you who decided to play it, I made up my mind and decided to play along, after all, you know I love to entertain your whims.”

“You asshole.”

“Baby, don’t say things like that,” Yunho teased as he unbuckled Jaejoong’s pants and cupped his straining erection, “You’re but a child, and children who say bad words get their mouths washed out with soap.”

“I’d rather have something else in my mouth,” Jaejoong breathed out as he watched Yunho unbuckle his own jeans.

Yunho shook his head in amusement and pulled off his own shirt, “Maybe later, and just to clarify, no sex tonight.”

“What -“

Yunho kissed Jaejoong softly, “You’re so impatient,” he whispered as he slipped his hand underneath Jaejoong’s boxers and wrapped his hand around his erection. He began to stroke him, “Did you forget that you’re going to be filming some sort of action scene tomorrow?”

“What does that have anything to do with sex?” Jaejoong asked in frustration as Yunho slowed down his strokes.

The older man leaned down to whisper into his ear, “Baby, you won’t even be able to walk if I take you all the way.”

Jaejoong whimpered, “Fuck you.”

“No, but I will be fucking you another time,” Yunho said teasingly as he pulled the rest of Jaejoong’s clothes off and moved south so that he could suck briefly on the tip of Jaejoong’s dick, “I promise you though baby, despite us not going all the way, we will be having lots of fun tonight.”

Jaejoong fiddled in the car seat and turned his head to look at Yunho, “What if they don’t like me?”

“You mean my friends?” Yunho questioned as he drove into the rotunda in front of the restaurant they were going to, “You just have to be yourself, and you’ll be fine.” He handed the car keys to the valet and waited for Jaejoong before they entered, “Don’t think so much about it.”

Jaejoong scrunched up his nose, “It’s kind of hard. Your friends are famous actors and models, and I’m just some kid who happened to catch your eye.”

“You’re famous too,” Yunho whispered encouragingly as they let a waitress lead them to the table his friends had reserved, “Everyone has to start somewhere, and you should be proud that you’ve become famous due to your own talent and not something else.”

“I think it’s mostly my looks.”

Yunho shook his head, “I’m sure your looks have helped you, but you’re nominated for a couple of acting awards, aren’t you? Stop putting yourself down - go back to your confident self and stop worrying.”

They approached the table, and Yunho’s friends paused in their conversation momentarily so that they could study Jaejoong. Jaejoong felt uncomfortable underneath the intensity of their looks, but he forced a warm smile anyway.

Yunho pulled out a chair for Jaejoong, and he took the seat next to him. He said nothing as he took a menu from a waitress, and when he noticed that his friends were looking at him expectantly, he raised an eyebrow.

“I didn’t think introductions were necessary. I’m sure you all know each other -“

“How old are you?” Ara questioned Jaejoong curiously, “I swear, you look so young, and I didn’t think Yunho was into younger men -“

Jaejoong opened his mouth to answer, but he was quickly interrupted.

“Yunho’s an old man,” Heechul commented with a smirk as he took a sip of his wine. He glanced at Jaejoong, “I think he probably believes that he’ll look younger if he starts going out with a younger man -“

Ara laughed, and Yunho put down his menu to glare at Heechul. Jaejoong chuckled softly and tucked a strand of hair behind his ear, still somewhat uncomfortable but less nervous than he’d been moments ago.

“Yunho never introduces anyone to us,” Yeonhee added as she handed Jaejoong a menu with a smile, “I think that means he must really like you. How did you two meet?”

“It’s nice to know that I have at least one friend that doesn’t call me an old man,” Yunho muttered as he glanced at Jaejoong and smiled at him, “What do you want baby?”

All of Yunho’s friend cooed, and Yunho glared at them. He squeezed Jaejoong’s thigh underneath the table encouragingly, and Jaejoong leaned over to whisper, “I like your friends.”

“I don’t,” Yunho muttered as he ignored Heechul’s remarks about him having sick daddy fantasies, “You can have them.”

“We’ve heard the most interesting thing Mr. Kim,” the reporter said animatedly as she glanced down at her notebook then back at Jaejoong, “It’s in regards to your personal life. Would you mind answering it?”

Yunho chuckled at Jaejoong’s side and glanced at him, “I’m extremely interested to hear about that. You should ask him. I’ve been a good friend of Jaejoong’s for a while now, and I want to hear more about the person he’s dating.”

Jaejoong wanted to glare at Yunho but instead he forced a smile for the reporter. He leaned forward and clasped his hands together, “What would you like to hear about? As long as it’s not too -“

“We heard that you’re dating someone much older than yourself, is that true? After all, you’ve already slipped in a previous interview that you are indeed in a relationship.”

Yunho stifled his laughter, and Jaejoong glanced at him before he turned his eyes back to the reporter, “Well…how much older is much older? You see, for me, I don’t really care about age. It’s the personality of a person and their own maturity that matters most.”

“Not looks?”

Jaejoong looked at Yunho, “What do you think of the person I’m dating? Do you think my lover is attractive?”

“I’d say so - very good looking,” Yunho continued as he sent a smirk in Jaejoong’s direction then turned to the reporter, “The person Jaejoong’s dating is possibly one of the nicest and best people I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing.”

“It’s just that the person I’m dating is a quite a bit older than myself,” Jaejoong said with a shrug as he finally looked at the reporter once more, “I’m a bit worried sometimes about dating someone older, but I think we’re a good match.”

“I think they’re a perfect match,” Yunho added, “I’ve never seen two people look so good next to each other.”

The reporter laughed, “When you two talk about this, it seems almost like the two of you are talking about yourselves!” She gestured to them, “Both of you, after all, are very handsome and look very good together.”

“Ah, thank you,” Jaejoong replied before he turned his head to Yunho, “Maybe you and I should make another movie together then. It seems like a lot of people think that you and I look great next to each other.”

Yunho shrugged half-heartedly, “I don’t know if I want to do another project with you. I’m kind of sick of working with you.”

Jaejoong pouted, “Don’t be like that.”

Before Yunho could reply, the reporter squealed, “You two are so cute! I’ve never seen such an adorable senior and junior relationship before.” She blushed and bowed her head in apology, “I think that’ll be cut when this airs…I ruined it.”

Jaejoong laughed, and he felt Yunho squeeze his knee. He glanced at Yunho and shot him a small smile before he turned his attention back to the embarrassed reporter and replied, “Don’t worry about it. It seems like the two of us together have that sort of effect on people.”
o-o-o
“You don’t like working with me?” Jaejoong asked as he slipped into Yunho’s dressing room and shut the door, making sure to lock it before he stepped in any further. He walked over to Yunho and straddled his lap.

He tugged at Yunho’s hair slightly, and Yunho placed his phone on the table behind Jaejoong before he leaned back, “Not really.”

Jaejoong leaned forward and pulled at Yunho’s tie, “I know you do.” He rocked his hips against Yunho’s and grinned mischievously, “You look really good right now.”

“Thank you,” Yunho murmured before he pulled Jaejoong’s face closer and crushed their lips together. He kissed Jaejoong roughly, and the chair squeaked slightly from the movement of Jaejoong’s body crashing against Yunho’s.

They kissed deeply for a few minutes before Jaejoong pulled away breathlessly and pushed Yunho’s chest down to prevent the other man from capturing his lips once again, “I like you.”

“Me too, which is why you’re terribly distracting and which is why I do enjoy the times that you and I are not working together,” Yunho said coolly as he wiped at the corner of Jaejoong’s mouth, “But I do enjoy the times I work with you as well, it’s just that you’re so damn distracting.”

Jaejoong laughed, and they kissed for a few more minutes before he slid off of Yunho’s lap and made his way to the door. As soon as he was about to open it, he turned around and smiled, “I’ll see you at your place later?”

“I’ll pick you up after you finish your interview,” Yunho replied as he swiveled his chair around to look at Jaejoong, “Is that alright with you?”

Jaejoong nodded and opened the door. Just as he was about to step out, he paused and looked at Yunho, “Bye old man.”

“Bye baby.”

The way the word rolled off of Yunho’s tongue was enough for Jaejoong to slam the door back shut, lock it, jump back onto Yunho’s lap, and crash their lips together once more.

Even though he was a star now, he’d always be a Jung Yunho fanboy first.

Author’s Note: Belated happy birthday unnie! XD I hope you enjoyed it. :3 This was inspired kind of by Lauren Bacall & Humphrey Bogart’s relationship. Apparently he always called her baby, and I found that really cute. XD They definitely had a lot of chemistry together. I’ll be updating daily for the whole week, and I’m sorry for the wait I put you guys all through! Brush up on my chaptered stuff if you need to, and as always, thank you for your comments! ♥
