New house, nursery work and Harry P!

Hello, been back in Reading for a week now and were finally feeling settled in. Things were a bit touch a go last week with organising our room, the internet connection, Sky and a whole manner of other things - oh and some very intelligent person threw out all our food! - But everything is pretty much organised now.

Mine and Adam's room is lovely, it has a big bow window which our computer desk is pushed into and where im currently sitting, the room is very light as it gets some sun for most of the day, we have an ok view of the football stadium and the wind turbine and we also have a big garden which is a suntrap and a huge grass field right next door! It would be perfect for sunbathing....when we get some sun...

At the moment, quite a large area of Reading is under water due to the extremely heavy rain we have had over the past week or so. It's hard to believe were in July! Im glad that right now is gloriously sunny, but i know that by this evening, it will be thundery and bucketing down again.

Anyway, on a more positive note, iv started my job and im really enjoying it. The best thing about it for me is obviously the money and the flexibility (i can pretty much pick and chose my hours), but getting to play with the kids all day is also a laugh, kids come out with the daftest things and are always fun to be around, even if they do puke and cry sometimes. I have three 8 hour shifts next week, which is perfect for me, as i like to do my dissertation research for three days a week then rest on sunday. I think if i can keep that routine going i will find a nice balance between wanting to have plenty money, but also wanting to get all my research done before the beginning of October.

Hope everyone else is well! Oh and if you haven't seen HP yet, go see! It's fecking awesome! Harry is LOVE in this film, so glad he cut all of that stupid hair off! Especially watch out for the scene in the Ministry of Magic when Voldy possesses him, it's perfect!!!

Later,

-Lottie
