Ahh college life.

So, if anybody wonders what it's like to be in college, here is an example. This was sent out via mass e-mail to all students residing in Hillcrest this afternoon from one of the RAs. It made me giggle and then sigh with shame all at the same time.

"Dearest Colleagues,
I stopped in the lounge to read the quote board today. The excerpts posted there are puerile, juvenile, infantile and hebetudinous. Please show a little more discrimination in deciding what goes up there. Remember, a sexual reference does not a quote make. I would much prefer the witty double entendres of the non-sexual kind. Here are some examples:

Good Quote:
Geoff: Can't you tell the difference between Mike and Gregg?
Sam: I dunno, all you white people look the same to me.

Bad Quote:
Anon 1:I like donuts...
Anon 2: I have a penis!

Notice that the first one works on multiple levels; it plays on the fact that the Camps were twins, and it also makes fun of the stereotype that white people can't tell non-white people apart. That's the sort of thing we're looking for: high brow, multiple level humor.
What kind of example are we setting? Please, I beg of you, do this for the children... think of the children!
-Sam "Sweet monkey Jesus, I've spent more time here than I have left" Abboud"

Who uses the word "hebetudinous" anyway?!
