Photo Story
I have the newest chapter of "House of Pullip" ready. I know I just posted yesterday, but I did promise three chapters this week...I kept my promise. ;)
Chapter 284: A Little Help
*Shiloh and Laszlo have left Melodie and Paige alone again*
Melodie: Oh, a baby! It will be so nice to have more children around here.
Paige: Melodie, did you even pay attention to the man with Shiloh?
Melodie: Well…yes…Larry, right?
Paige: His name was Laszlo.
Melodie: Oh…right…Laszlo…
Paige: He was trying to meet us because he’s new around here, you didn’t even talk to him.
Melodie: Yes I did!
Paige: Not really.
Melodie: It doesn’t matter.
Paige: Yes it does. It’s not nice to ignore people.
Melodie: I didn’t mean to ignore him.
Paige: I know you don’t mean to, but it happens…sometimes I think you don’t realize it and I’m just trying to help you see how these things make people feel.
Paige: For example…poor Ronan.
Melodie: What about him?
Paige: You were a little hard on him before, don’t you think?
Melodie: Was I?
Paige: He liked you and you…were so mean to him when you found out.
Melodie: I was mean?
Paige: Well, you weren’t nice.
Melodie: I didn’t think about that…
Paige: I also think you should know that I’m afraid Zander thinks you are…odd.
Melodie: He does?
Paige: Well, I don’t know for sure, it’s just the feeling I get. But all you talk to him about is butterflies, caterpillars, and fairies…it’s not really the kind of thing most men care about.
Melodie: I don’t want Zander to think I’m odd.
Paige: You can change that. Plus you might want to apologize to Ronan.
Melodie: Oh…yes…I’ll do that.
Paige: I hope I didn’t make you feel bad, I just thought you should know.
Melodie: No, I’m glad you told me…
Elsewhere…
*Taryn is working alone in “The Sweet Shoppe” and humming to herself*
*Felix enters the store*
Taryn: Oh…hello again!
Felix: Er…hi.
Taryn: I don’t know if you remember me or not, but we met the other day. I live in that same house you do.
Felix: I remember you…Taryn, right?
Taryn: *smiles* That’s right…Felix.
Felix: So…this is where you work?
Taryn: Yes…um…can I help you find something?
Felix: Well, yeah… *a little embarrassed* I’m looking for a stuffed animal or something like that.
Taryn: For your girlfriend?
Felix: No, I don’t have a girlfriend. But it’s for a girl…who’s a friend. Um, you’re a girl, maybe you’d know what she might like…?
Taryn: We have some cute things, let me show you…
*Taryn brings out a few things for Felix to look at*
Taryn: All of these are very sweet; I think most girls would like any of them.
Felix: Hmmm…well, which one is the best one? I’m not very good at this.
Taryn: I think this one is adorable.
Felix: I’ll get that one then.
*Felix buys the mouse and starts to leave*
Taryn: Oh…uh…wait…are you going home now?
Felix: Yeah, why?
Taryn: Well, I’m about to close the store and I was just thinking we could walk back together. It will only take a few minutes if you want to wait…but you don’t have to…
Felix: No, that would be cool. I don’t mind waiting.
Taryn: *smiles* Thanks!

I don't have much to add, but in the next chapter we will see what Taryn and Felix talk about while they walk home. :)
Completely Random...I found this today while I was out shopping for a few things:
If you are a Harry Potter fan you will recognize it. I knew Rowling was writing this book but I didn't realize it was coming out today. Of course I had to buy it. :P
Here is the title page of "Beedle the Bard". It says:

Then on the facing page you can see some of Rowling's illustrations...nifty. It should be cute to read and the nice thing is all profits from buying this book goes to charity.
My New Shoes:
Allison wanted to see my new shoes so here they are. I figured this was the easiest way, aren't they cute?
One more random photo of Piper:
I put a pair of her new eyes in looking to the side, just to see if they look any better. You can see more white on the side, but I still think they look too big. Oh well, one nice thing about this photo is you can see the color really well, especially the hazel bit around the pupil. It's really pretty, I'm sure I'll find some use for these eventually. :P
