Doctor: *suturing dog*
Liz: *watching* Did you just neuter him?
Doctor: No. We actually neutered him last week but his testacles grew back.
I'm really starting to like my job. All the Doctors and Techs are really nice. :D
I saw a dog and a cat get euthanized today. *sadness* And what's so heartbreaking about it all was that the animals had no idea. The dog was wagging his tail and licking everybody, and the next thing you know its "restrain the animal, he's leaving".
I didn't even realize the cat was getting euthanized; I thought the Tech was admistering some medication. It wasn't until he stopped squirming that I realized he died.
And what bothers me most is that everyone jokes about the animals' death.
"See ya later, alligator."
"That was fun. Let's do another!"
Everybody laughs. Everybody jokes. And I just stand there with a sad look on my face.
No, I didn't cry. I didn't even feel like crying, I just felt bad.
