Blinding
Hello! First off, being that is my first post, I thought I'd just offer my compliments as this really is a very spiffy community indeed.
Basically, I have a character who went blind at the age of eight, subsequent to an act of violence. It really doesn't hold anything to the actual plot of the story, but I'd rather have it sorted out, even if it is just for my own knowledge.
What I don't know, and google won't tell me, is how it might have happened. I'm sure there are many, very logical ways in which someone could blind someone else, but I'd much rather be safe than sorry. Also, in this sort of circumstance, what would happen to the eyes after whatever happened happened?
