First Watch Review - 10x15 "The Things They Carried"
Hiatus is over! Yay!
So I was expecting a horrible gory opening scene, but it wasn't. The flashes in and out as the girl was waking up was cool though.
Sam sucks at hiding stuff from Dean. :P
"Meet you in the car in ten minutes." Seriously, are these guys constantly ready to just hit the road?
I loved Dean sneaking a taste of the cake. LOL!
The Khan worms seem even ickier than they were the last time we saw one.
Uh, let's see, what else... Oh, Dean avoiding meeting Sam's eyes when Kit's wife (or was it the other guy's wife?) mentions PTSD. Yeah, I don't think PTSD causes extreme thirst like that.
Dean's motto: When in doubt, eat. :D
"And you brought him dinner." Haha!
I was worried Dean would lose control again, but he didn't. But unfortunately turning his head away like that almost ended very badly.
Me: If Cole's dead, or even just unconscious, I don't think yelling at him won't wake him up, Dean.
Sister: It works when Sam's unconscious.
Me: Ha! You're right, you know.
Cole insisting Dean keep going. Good on Dean for not letting it go any further.
*talking to the characters like they can hear us*
Sister: Shoot him, Dean!
Me: No, don't!
I kinda like Cole. I hadn't actually "met" him before this episode, as I was still TV-less the last time he showed up.
I was just talking to my sister the other day about Dean suddenly not talking about the victim's situation, but his own. And he did that often throughout the episode. Especially right at the end.
It was kinda nice to have an "easy" episode. Yeah, it was gross and sometimes creepy, but not intense. No holding my breath, no roller-coaster emotions. My service dog was actually able to sleep through the episode, instead of climbing on top of me like last time.
Bring on next Monday! By the way...
