Convention squee and thoughts
Just 63 days to go! And I'm trolling everyone's blogs and Tumblrs for convention stories. If anyone has a story of their own, feel free to leave the link in the comments! :)
But reading has got me thinking - I'm likely going to be completely incoherent when I meet J2. Simply because I'll be so nervous. I mean, this is Jared and Jensen. I'm sure they're really nice guys in real life, but I'm going to be freaking out about even SEEING them, let alone talking to them. Even getting out the word "hi" is going to be an effort for me. During the Q&As I will be content to just listen, and not ask any questions. But how am I going to handle a photo op?! I don't know.
Despite the inevitable nerves, I predict it will be an incredible day that I will never EVER forget.
I don't think that I'll be doing the sing-along though, as fun as it sounds it simply runs too late into the night and I will still have a long train trip home after that. I don't want to be calling my dad at 1am to pick me up from the train station.
At the moment our after-con plans are to do a lot of squeeing with other fans and then find somewhere to eat dinner. So yeah, if anyone wants to meet up on the day, or point out a nice place to have dinner (nothing too fancy, please!), PM me to discuss it! I have no idea how this sort of thing works. Will we have time over lunchbreak to chat? Or is it easier to meet up after the event?
Meanwhile I am trying to get back into writing. My next published fanfic will either be one of about ten Supernatural fics, or possibly a missing scene for Star Wars II. :)
