Sunday night I watched Disney's Sleeping beauty. I haven't watched that movie since I was eight. Anyway, when the "Once upon a Dream" song came on I started crying! I was just really moved by the song for some reason. The soprano's voice was sooo beautiful, and when she sang higher notes I felt it all over. It was wierd. I really like that

Yea you like Sleeping Beauty! That's always been my favorite Disney film. Except, when I was little, I always thought Aurora was dumb for touching the needle-thing, but I didn't understand at the time that she was under a trance. I really like how the story gives a semi-valid reason for the prince (Philip!) and the princess falling in love.

I saw a really horrible thing on the internet last week. It's some commercial for a car (by Ford?) and the car is supposed to have a mind of it's own, but it uses its intelligence for evil and not good. Well, I'm not going to say what happened in the ad. Even though I know it's fake, it's still very disturbing.
And I've heard so many horrible stories this past semester about animal cruelty. It makes me so angry and afraid of these types of people. For instance, the comments posted about that ad were like, "Serves the cat right for being so curious!" "That's so funny! Hahahahahaha!" You know, if the thing that happened to that cat had happened to a human, no one would be laughing. Does it serve a curious 3 year old girl right to drown in the pool in her backyard? Why is it okay for a non-human entity to suffer pain?

I wonder what commercial that was. If I knew, I'd totally write to the agency and complain.
