1) Book
"Throat" has proved an interesting read thus far. Not great, interesting. I'm a little frustrated with the constant repetition of "I swore", and "I cursed". It's not the best writing, nor am I convinced by the 'love story' that's developing: too much too quickly, really. Part of the story takes place on a NASA base, and there's some ( Read more... )

1) Moneypenny was born and raised in Bristol, but hides the accent well. This is to her benefit: it's considered somewhat hickish in the UK. The lengthened syllables and proliferation of 'l' sounds where they really shouldn't be come out she's really and truly exasperated, which is incredibly, incredibly rare. She's self-possessed enough that the only people who have heard her true accent are her mother and father ( ... )
