I remember a mountain. Ladies. And Curling. That's about it. So clearly it's my favorite.

I've always been sorta fascinated with curling and I've always wanted to give it a go. Unfortunately I've never been that close to a curling rink.

Apparently, I slide well. My problem (according to the teacher/trainer/whoever) is that I can't turn the rock properly as I release it. I flick my wrist in this weird way that makes it so my rocks don't end up where I want them. Jewels is way better at it.
Curling IS a really interesting sport once you appreciate what's going on. The family gathers 'round the television for the "Tournament of Hearts" -- the biggest bonspiel in Canada -- every year because we are dorks. It always looks so slow and repetitive, but it's so fascinating to watch the high-calibre players do their thing.
Training montage? That's only okay if I get 'Eye of the Tiger' in the background.
