I've been dying to get this certain tattoo since I was 16 years old and I was going to get it when I turned 18 as a graduation present. However, I met my current boyfriend right before I did it and he happens to absolutely HATE tattoos to the fullest loathing. Seven years later (I am 23 next month!) I still want it and I am still in love with the same guy.
Have any of you had this problem? How would you go about bringing it up in a way that would shed light on the situation? Is it even worth it? Should I ditch the idea and embrace his love instead and respect that he would not want it on me?
That tattoo I want would be e.e cumming's (of course) I carry your heart on one wrist and, (I carry it in my heart) on the other. VERY small, so that I can cover it with bracelets or gloves or make-up.
Just looking for opinions, options and suggestions.
