hello everyone!
i've posted to this community before; back in november, i put up a picture of my wrist tattoo. however, i've gotten another one!
this is a picture of my wrist tattoo. it's from kafka on the shore by haruki murakami:
it's a fun tattoo to have where people are always like 'what does that mean?' and all.
but, i REALLY like my new one; it's quite possibly my favorite out of the three tattoos i have:
it's two of the pictures from the little prince. this was taken a few hours after it had been done and it was still angry and red.
the reason i decided to get it like this was because when i read this part in the book, it made me think a lot about growing up and how i'd never want to lose the change to see things outside of the box or not have an imagination. in fact, the thought of it terrifies me a lot still. therefore, the elephant inside the snake is on top and the 'hat'/snake is on bottom.
this is it all healed up, about a month later. sorry that it's not the greatest picture ever. it's pretty hard to take a picture of your back.
this is me so i'm not a creepy, faceless tattooed person!
the tattoo was done in chicago at insight. if anyone is thinking about going there, it's a fantastic place!
i'm also planning my next tattoo, which is going to be a tribute to flowers for algernon.
