Brave and the Bold is this week, isn't it? (I don't think it's really delayed; the creators have a deal that it's a 10-issue-a-year thing so that one of them can spend time with his kids or something, and so it won't come out every month. I can deal with that.) CYBORGS. JAIME. LOBO. WIN.
I am so with you on the gorillas racing dinosaurs. That is why comics are great. It's actually why I'm so excited for Gail Simone to write WW; I don't care that it's a woman on Wonder Woman, I care that it's someone who really understands and loves the sheer dorky awesomeness that is comics getting a high-profile book. (Also because I love Gail, but that's why.) Punching a monkey off a waterfall, baby.

EXACTLY. Jodi Picoult was a woman on Wonder Woman and I couldn't have cared less. Gail gets it and her stuff is always dorky greatness so Diana's book will soon be dorky greatness. SO EXCITING ( ... )

... Damnit, now that I have the second trade and I have all the stuff together in one place instead of strewn around my house like the loose issues are, I am reminded of how much I need to make more Jaime icons. A million Jaime icons. There are Albuquerque issues I haven't iconned, damnit!

I love Albuquerque's art SO MUCH. Have you read #16 yet? IT IS THE GREATEST THING EVER. I laughed till I couldn't breathe.

I need to scan more things so I can have more Albuquerque-art icons, since most of the icons I have are from the first six issues. Soooopretty. I need a dentist icon too. Too bad Kay has my copy of volume 2 so I have to figure out where I left the issues.
