A few miles past midnight, a fox carrying a rabbit skirted through puddles of amber. It was especially strange, having just seen Spirited Away, ranked favorite in recent company of Bob Roberts, Ever After, Gattaca, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, Hoodwinked, and The Killing Fields.
After it rained in the forest, all the red efts crawled to open ground to savor the dampness and the renewed freshness of air. They arched their backs and watched the sunset, considering dharma, considering waxworms. They curled their tails in absented deliberation and studied the vapor fleecing their digits. Cause is effect, they decided, and scampered beneath their rocks for the night.
