Gila Monsters on the Moon

Work is becoming more noteworthy as I take new initiatives, like looking for reptiles and going dumpster diving. I also went running down a rural road with fish lining its margins. The fish were the length of neckties, cleaned vertebrae tressed with gristle freshly loosed from their heads.

Movies include Talk to Her, Brazil, The Boondock Saints, Vanishing Point, Seas of Life, The Corporation, This Is Spinal Tap, Waiting, Criminal, and The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert.

Two winters ago I had a strange encounter that I noted as follows:
"a sight of spiritual triumph: a young woman meditating on the edge of a river frozen at her folded knees. I stopped running to study her for several minutes, magnetized by the poise and grace that was also captivating several others, including a photographer who documented cusps of windstirred hair upon the form that was one with water and earth. The tranquil magnificence of her figure exceeded the capacity of any thought arranged by words. I would have asked her something-anything-if I didn't believe interruption to be blasphemous."
The subject of the note unexpectedly reappeared in my small world, and again I had the sensation that she possessed a purity of resolution worthy of emulation.
