The basket came by delivery to him as a treat, knowing that he would get a kick out of the whole thing and the fact that she had the basket delivered to the studio when she knew that he would be there. Inside the basket was the monkey, the coupons for favors of all kinds, chocolate edible body paint and a five pound bag of his favorite candies. At the bottom was a tiny scrap of flame red material that looked like silk and lace.

There was also a note:

I think you can figure out what the whole basket and the goodies are for. Even that little red thing that you see is for you though I'll wear it. I love you.

James had arrived at the studio, a water bottle in hand, a woolknit beanie snugly resting on his head. As he walked in, John gave a little smirk and when James stared at him in confusion, he pointed to the basket that had arrived. Setting his water bottle down and removing his beanie, he walked over to the basket and rummaged through, laughing at the different gifts, especially the monkey. At the enormous bag of candies, his eyes grew wide and he pumped a fist in the air. Half of the bag would be gone by the time the studio session was done, he was sure of it ( ... )

Ava was out shopping when she got the text and she had to giggle when she saw the screen glancing at the girl helping her with a little smirk, "Sorry, just got a text from my guy." She explained and the girl nodded before slipping out of the change room.

Then Ava texted him back:

"You're welcome, sweetie. And only almost? Damn, well wait till you see the stockings and the high heels I just bought to go with it. Love you too, James. ;P"

James was walking into the Live Room when he got the return text. He let out a laugh, and John just shook his head. He'd seen the mood change in James over the course of the past two weeks, and he was glad to finally see him laughing and smiling for a change. He decided to give him a little privacy and went to fetch himself some coffee.

"You're evil." James paused as he typed the text, thinking of what to put next. "Now, I'm going to have to record with a hard on. I guess I'm going to spending most of this session sitting down since I can't seem to stand comfortably anymore. ;)"

Ava had wondered if other people would notice the changes in the both of them, they were both quicker to laugh and smile especially about each other now. Ava giggled a little as she looked at the reply that she got from him, her eyes twinkling with delight.

"How do you think I feel? I'm considering seeing if I can getting away with getting myself off in a changing room before anyone catches me. :p And just try not to think about me!"

James stared at the screen of his iPhone for a few minutes as he felt the heat rush to his cheeks. John entered the Control Room at that precise moment and suddenly felt awkward, like he'd walked in on some intimate moment. He spoke over the mic and into the Live Room.

"You need a few minutes, champ?" James jumped a little as he was reminded that he wasn't the only one in the room. He shook his head.

"Just give me a sec."

James sent a reply:

"... I'll be sitting for the WHOLE session now, thanks. I hope you start screaming my name while you do it." He paused again. "Good Lord, that's the hottest thing I've ever imagined. If I wasn't in the company of other people right now ... ;P"

Ava jumped as the girl called out to her and she looked up, clearing her throat, "One second, I'll be right out."

She looked at her phone once more, wetting her lips before she started to type her text back:

"I might gasp it a little. I will see you once you're done recording right?" Now she was kind of desperate to, damn him.
