I really, really, really want to like Mark Dayton. But look! He's not done a blind thing since January.* Okay, he looks like a Senator is supposed to, but I don't think he has the brains for it.
I don't know though - he is DFL, and that can't be all bad. *Right, this is not strictly true - he has done stuff, and some of it is important. But really, man. You could tell you what you're up to, it wouldn't hurt.
Ending the Minnesota interest, moving quickly on towards the college visiting tales.
AH! Visited Vassar, Bard, Amherst, University of Massachusetts, Hampshire, Mount Holyoke and Smith. Watch my head explode!
This was pricipally to get an idea of what colleges (or colegs) are like, and what sort of school I want to go to. And also, because my mother wanted to actually see me, and trapping the two of us in a car together seemed like a good idea.
I have at least 3 kilograms (2.2 x 3, for the non-metrically inclined) of papers from those places. And I won't get into any of the ones I want to go to. Which could be sad, except that there are 2,000 other institutions of tertiary learning, and one of them will have to let me in. I'll threaten them with a...can of Cheez-Wizz or something.
Also, I have dropped out of fandom in the last two weeks, and am even more behind on the f'list than usual. Woe.
