The day before school starts is the pits.... the fact that it's a Sunday makes it even worse.
What have I done with all my time? I've held it very selfishly.. close to my chest and self-indulged as only a single woman in her thirties can. This means plenty of chocolate, movies, books and internet in lieu of sex. A fair trade if you ask me if a bit heavy going on the hips and thighs.
800X600I thought this wall would be appropriate considering the Sunday blues. Do you think this could be the first time splatter brushes were used to simulate seagull poo? *grin*

Memorable movie -The Family Stone.
Memorable TV -The entire first series of Deadwood. I know, I'm a late bloomer. It must be on the pay channel here in SA but I hadn't heard of it until I caught some reviewer on NPR say it was the best TV series evah...I tried the first three episodes on DVD and was hooked. Westerns have always appealed to me. Cowboys are loners..things are real, there are no pretensions or niceties on the frontier. This Deadwood takes the genre to a whole different level. It's dark and dirty and I love it!
Memorable meal- The most divine pea and ham soup that admittedly wore out it's welcome after day three but heavenly nonetheless.
Memorable site -
StumbleUpon. My mother hounded me to sign into this thing and I have to say it'a fantastic way to see the best of what the web has to offer. I highly recommend it.
Memorable Music- Jenny Lewis with the Watson Twins and Sufjan Stevens
Memorable book- Bet Me by Jenny Crusie..ahh..good ol' chick lit!
