Maou mania anyone?
O_o
Not only did I wake up at 7:00 AM to see Maou as it came on in Japan 2 days ago (an hour before it started to mentally prepare myself, getting only 3.5 hours of sleep), I also watched part of the rerun aired yesterday, and I might have downloaded it 3 separate times in order to get the best quality version. but... If another higher resolution version comes out, I think I'll have to download that one too. ^_^; All this is on my sub-par dsl connection. Subtitles haven't even been released and I've downloaded it 3 times, 5 if you count the live streaming. Wow.
But even so, I've only seen it all the way through once. It. is. so. pretty. AND. It. sounds. so. nice. No caps. For real. I just feel like I've seen so many awesome ones other places~
In other news,
Nature is pretty amazing. Me and my sister went to the Gateway Arch, where we usually go for Independence day to watch the fireworks and the concert beforehand. But the organizers had to change the location for the event due to flooding of the Mississippi, and we didn't get the memo. So, we went, took pictures of the water and ourselves, and left. Well, it was fun anyway.
Seeing the flooding was incredible. Some things, even when you hear about them, you don't really understand until you see it.
OMG, A street was here. Where cars are supposed to go by. I drew a picture of it in 6th grade, but now... WHERE COULD IT BE? Okay, the sign just cracks me up.
this is my pic, the others were found via google
before flooding (I'm pretty sure):
