All we wanna do is eat your brains...we're not unreasonable, I mean, no one's gonna eat your eyes.

I had an interesting Easter weekend. Saturday was spent hanging with friends, playing drinking games, and than eventually passing out. The next morning Alex and I made our way to his aunt and uncle's house for an Easter brunch with his relatives. It was nice, if not a little bit nerve wracking, getting to meet more of his extended family. One of his cousins asked when we were going to have kids. HA! Hold the phone there, lady, we're not even married yet. And in answer to your question: not for a long, long time.

Thankfully the get together wasn't overtly religious. The previous Monday I had gone to a Passover Seder that my dad's side of the family was putting on and it was, sadly, chock full of prayer. This was the first Seder that I had attended in a long time, and the main reason for going was to see my family. This time around I actually had a clear concept of just what exactly it was we were celebrating. We were basically singing Gods praises for maiming and killing the Egyptian people. That's kind of disturbing....

I think I'm just going to stick with being a Pagan and call it a day.

paganism, family, holiday
