Darth Vader moment x 10

Earlier this evening I got a call from one of my friends from school. She happens to be an RA (Residential Adviser) and while she was busy making her rounds through the dorms and checking kids back into the rooms after the long winter break, she noticed as she walked by my room that the door was open.

Now, my room mate doesn't come back until ( Read more... )

omg that sucks, hopefully you dont find anything else missing when you get back. Dont worry coz karma is a bitch. They'll get what's coming to them. Maybe a laptop will drop out the sky to smack them upside the head. Take solace in that hehe

*sending the love your way as requested* :)

*sniffle* It's just not cool man. :(

I hope nothing else is missing either, and you're right, karma's a bitch. They'll get what's coming to them.

Thank you for the love! *big hugs!*

Oh man, that really, really sucks! How did the door get open? Was it locked when you left? I dunno what else to say, but I will send sympathy! (My computer is like, my 5th appendage. I totally get it.)

This doesn't really help now but - once you get a new computer, also get an external hard drive with more space than your computer has and do periodic disk images of your computer, put it on the external hard drive, then store it far, far away from the computer.

Good luck though! Maybe you'll be sitting in class one day and find out the person next to you has your computer.

If you want to go cheaper, get a computer lock.

Yes. It's like a leash for your computer so you can open it and use it and all that stuff, but you can't take it more than like three feet away from where ever you anchored it too. They're like $30 (I think) and you should be able to get one at Fry's and places like Best Buy should at least be able to tell you where to get one. You get keys or a code so you can unlock it and take your computer away, but the thief won't have said keys.

I wish they had just taken the dvd player. Hell, I would have been fine if they'd taken the tv. Just not my computer! *sob!* :(

Omg, wtf? You need to get on your Xena or Buffy kick-ass revenge mode and go punish some thief. Show no mercy!

Dude, you have no idea how close I am to going all Dark Willow. No mercy!

I can't even enact any revenge now though, because I have no idea who took it. :(

I'm just hoping that I can sort it all out when I go back tomorrow.

Use an indicator spell and then kick their sorry ass. Strip said thief of his skin. You are Dark Willow. Be Dark Willow. Dye your hair black and have dark magic run through your veins so strongly that your face looks weird.
