Darth Vader moment x 10
Earlier this evening I got a call from one of my friends from school. She happens to be an RA (Residential Adviser) and while she was busy making her rounds through the dorms and checking kids back into the rooms after the long winter break, she noticed as she walked by my room that the door was open.
Now, my room mate doesn't come back until tomorrow and I won't be able to make it there until Sunday, so neither of us were there to open the door. My friend stepped inside to see what the deal was and was shocked to discover that my computer was missing!
Crap and a half.
She called me tonight to double check that I hadn't taken it home with me, and when she found out that I hadn't, she called the police to file a report. Sadly, though, since it's my property, a report can't be filed until I come back to school.
I had everything on that computer! Home work, email, my itunes, pictures, stories, music videos (including ones that I made). Not to mention, all of the websites that I've book marked over the years!
My friend told me that nothing else in the room looked out of place, so I'm glad about that. She said that the tv and dvd player was still there, as well as my room mates computer and all of our dvds. However, if I come back to find that any of my dvd's have been stolen, especially all three of my LotR extended edition sets, there will be hell to pay!
Also, my step dad is in London visiting family, and I won't be able to even think about getting another computer until he comes back in a week. And school starts on Monday!
This was the last thing I needed today. Seriously.
I'm really down right now, so If you have any love to spare, could you send it this way? Please? I'm gonna go cry in a corner now.
