"Shabbat Shalom, mama"
I've been watching The Hebrew Hammer on repeat for the past two days. Mainly I've had it on in the background while I've been unpacking. I was once again reminded just how much I love this damn movie. It is pure genius! The references to the Jewish American lifestyle are simply spot on and hilarious. There are so many scenes that I can point out and say that I've experienced first hand at family gatherings. Also, HOLY MOSES, my crush on Adam Goldberg has come back full force. GUH! That man is one fine looking Jew.
Anyway, yes, I survived the terrible weather over the past weekend and successfully moved into my apartment! Things are coming together and I'm almost done unpacking. Comcast is sending someone out this Saturday so that I can get cable and internet hooked up. I might be getting an old couch from Alex's parents, which would be awesome. Other than that, I think I only have a few more things I need to buy. I'm slowly getting used to living on my own. It's nice, but it's definitely different. I'm loving it, though, and I'm so happy that I chose to take this step. :D
