[There's a nice little loop Ginia likes to take for a morning run that takes her along the river. Of course, to get across the river, one must take the bridge, and it just so happens one such bridge is the marauding bridge.

She slows down as she approaches the bridge, stopping at the foot of it to look at the pony there.

...Interesting.]

[Ah HA! A victim! It has been so, so long since Jack has had a proper victim! And Murphy, doing such a brilliant job of luring her in with his cute pony charms! Flipping glorious little prancing sausage, was Murphy! The pirate would give him some oats and Jack Daniels, later. But first? Dramatical Marauding Voice of Splendor!]

Halt! You must now, fair miss, pay the toll what is charged on this here bridge. Namely....valuables. Any valuables on your person! Hand them over, at once!

[Aww, pony. Lover of all animals, Ginia's gives Murphy a gentle rub along his cheek once she's certain he's not a cranky, bitey kind of pony. At the sound of a Dramatical Marauding Voice of Splendor, she straightens up a little.

This morning just keeps getting better.

Unfortunately, when you're mute, there's not much one can do as far as replies go. So she goes right back to petting Murphy. Aww, pony.]

Erm-------------valuables? Handing---handing them over?

[Murphy, meanwhile, basks in the attention, because he is a Basking in the Attention sort of pony. He IS giving her a bit of the Carrot Eye, however. Just a little one? Nice and orange? Crunchy?]

[Unfortunately, there are no carrots to be had on her, just as she has no valuables on her person either. Unless Jack really wants a standard black ballpoint pen and a little notepad. Though Ginia's not so inclined to part with those either.

But there is attention! Lots of attention for the pony. So cute.

Not so much attention for the marauding marauder.]

Now that's quite enough CODDLING him, madam! You don't seem to understand that you are right now the victim of a crime! Turn out your pockets!

[Ginia sighs and finally stops giving Murphy attention to look over at Jack, her expression more along the lines of amusement than annoyance.]

Clearly you are a Marauding Virgin. What this means, darling, is that I must teach you how to go about this properly. Firstly: just...just stop coddling my partner, there. He's quite fierce and wants carrots. Secondses: you might wish to act a little bit more terrified, like. You are being accosted by Captain Jack Sparrow, and there's a reputation to uphold here. Thirdmost, it's rude to ignore people what are talking to you like civilized folk do.

[Oh, Jack. Jack, Jack, Jack. Ginia chuffs softly in amusement over the situation and takes out her notepad and pen to begin writing him a letter as she often had over the journal. Once she's finished, the letter is torn out of her notepad and held out for him.]

To Captain J. Sparrow:

In terms of marauding, I assure you I am no virgin. I do apologize for coddling your partner and for not being able to spare carrots in his direction as I have none.

On the second term, I'm afraid I don't do terrified like when there is no such reason to be terrified. I do acknowledge your reputation and I would hate to damage it, but I was also under the impression you were no longer marauding?

Thirdly, I apologize for that as well, but being able to speak makes it difficult to reply back in a timely manner.

Sincerely,

G. Solana"

Ginia.

[Wow...this would be the first time Jack has ever met her in person, off-journal.]

.....Hallo, Ginia.

[Really makes for an awkward first meeting, doesn't it.

She smiles and waves. Hi, Jack.]

Erm....nice to meet you, finally, and all.

...Taller than I expected you to be, actually.

Nice to meet you as well.

[The latter makes her pause and think a bit.] That's interesting. What made you think I'd be shorter? Though I'm not that tall really. Average.

Possibly the bitty picture of you in the journals? Deceptive, that. Settling in, are we? Everyone bein'....everyone bein' welcoming and such?

Quite true. You're looking less pirate-y today than I've usually seen you. in the bitty picture.

But yes, settling in quite nicely. I'd certainly hope so after being here for two months.
