Postcard from New Orleans
It was fairly crowded here all weekend, but today there are much less people wandering around - we took a tour yesterday to look at the flooded areas. Steve wanted to and I wasn't sure I did... I guess I'm glad now, but it really was unimaginable. These poor people! Everyone is really nice and very grateful everytime you spend money. In the french quarter about 2/3 of the businesses are open, but outside here it is pretty empty. There was a football game yesterday, which is why there were as many people around as there were. I'm not much for sports, but it is obviously a boost to the economy here.
