That last paragraph hit home for me. I feel like there aren't that many bands out there who truly rock anymore. If you look at magazines like The Rolling Stone AND THEY HAVE FUCKING LIL WAYNE ON THE COVER. I remember back in the day Rolling Stone used to follow Rock and Roll like a religion and now it's all about rap/pop music and the biggest radio hits and looks. I got and A when I wrote a essay on how bands like Fall out boy are ruining rock music for everyone because it's main focus is on Pete FUCKING Wentz because to teen age girls he's 'hot' (IMO he's a fucking tool) when back in the day none of that stuff mattered, hell back in the day you were automatically hot just because you were in a band whether you were good looking or not. That's why my favorite band is The Killers, they're still influence by the greats and the 80's and all that stuff because thats when music was golden. Except for Oasis, the 90's ruined it for music because thats when boy bands started and thats when girls focused more on the guys themselves then the actual songs. Fuck you have people Rhianna getting praised for a fucking song when the lyrics are just "ella" over and over again but when you have bands like TK, or The Strokes, or any real rock bands who aren't afraid to be different they get shunned by the North West because it's pretty much a pop/rap continent now. Music wise, look to the U.K, they still got it going on.
