I HAD SUCH A FUCKING AWESOME NEW YEAR. And seriously, it always baffles me how OKAY - the social events and outings that I think will suck, are always the most awesome of all, and the outings that I am so pumped for always end up falling through and being lame.
( pre-party stuff (aka how we even ended UP going to this thing, I originally just wanted to dinner and dancing) and my -OH MY GOD, DOES YOUR BEST FRIEND HAVE A BROTHER? BECAUSE IF SO, I HAD A LITTLE FLING WITH HIM- freak out. It amazes me how small this world is, it was so fucking weird. but I'm cutting it because that's not even the best part. )

I know this is kinda random and out of left field for you to be hearing from me now, but part of what I'm working on this year is getting back to LJ. so ppls don't think I'm dead or something. That and some of my RL friends have disappointed me this past year, and I realize how many great friends I have around here and I want to maintain those relationships, because in most ways they're better than the ones I have in rl and if it comes to that, I don't want to lose the RL friendships and than not even have here either.
sidenote: I want to ask you if you've heard the song Just Dance by Lady GaGa? It's been around for like a month and a half now, but the first time I heard it, I thought of you! And everytime I hear it it reminds me of you - just the dance stuff and everything. You have no idea how many things remind me of you, just because of what I know of you. ♥

thanks! I thought so. I just feel like I've connected so much more more with people on here than I have with friends that I've known for five years or so. like it took me days to connect with people on lj whereas I've known my rl friends for years and still haven't really achieved that. it's kinda one of those things like what's important in your life, you know? you know what's great about lj friends? they ALSO make fantastic RL friends. it's the best of both worlds!
