DISCUSSION - friends with benefits

Jun 01, 2008 13:15

I'm pulling a response to THIS POST and opening up another one of these discussions.

previous discussions;
homosexual derrogatory terms, "gay"
being politically correct in terms of race
female masturbation
abortion
lesbians, idk

question;
the phenomenon today that in many colleges, dating is out, replaced by friends with benefits/sex with no relationship. discuss.

liss' thoughts;
What has been your experience, both with yourself and with your close friends? Do you feel friends with benefits seems to be occurring more commonly? why or why not? do you think we are purposely making an effort not to get emotionally attached? If so, why? What does this say about sex, how do you feel about sex, do you think it's about time we started devaluing it (through the form of fwb) or does that bother you?

DISCUSS.

→ Ask questions.
→ Have an open mind.
→ Be respectful.
→ IF YOU FEEL STRONGLY ABOUT SOMETHING, FIGHT FOR IT.

If there's ever an issue of controversial nature that you'd like to discuss,
→ COME OVER HERE and leave a comment. Nothing's off limits.
