My mom and her boyfriend came down to Jason's apartment to see it and to take us to dinner on Thursday. I asked him if he was sure it was okay - he said it was nice because his mom hasn't even asked to see it yet. It touched him that my mom cared but it bothers me that his doesn't. I didn't always used to be like that, I completely understand the thought of nobody understanding. And it is definitely terrifying. But when I started editing dance videos or whatever and taking pictures when people asked, I realized that they were actually so much more supportive than I thought they'd be and little by little I stopped caring. It was a gradual process but now I'm fairly comfortable. I think it was weirder at the beginning because it was like I had you guys, and then these RL friends who didn't seem to really go(/live) on the internet. But now I feel like everyone's online so it bridges that gap a little bit. I also kind of adopted the philosophy that anyone who judges creativity and thinking and a meme-like sense of humor isn't really anyone I want to talk to anyway. It's the same with work - I've given up acquiring certain qualifications just for the sake of it because any organization who judges an applicant based on paper protocol over talent and passion is not one I'd ever want to work for anyway.

IT LIKE, WASN'T TYPICAL KETCHUP, IT WAS FUCKING WEIRD.
