It wasn’t the first time this had happened, and it probably wouldn’t be the last, but Elizabeth still felt rather lost as she watched the last person go through the Stargate. The ’Gate room seemed so forbiddingly empty when she was the only one standing in it.
She was tempted to touch her radio and ask Rodney how he was doing, just to hear the sound of another voice and reassure herself that she wasn’t alone, but it would just annoy him.
“Hey. You okay?”
Elizabeth turned, and was grateful to see Ronon standing behind her. “I think so, yes.”
