“I don’t like this place,” said Jennifer nervously.
“Neither do I, but we need that ZPM,” Ronon replied, continuing forward.
Jennifer forced herself to keep moving. She wasn’t quite sure what she was doing here, but she didn’t want Ronon to think she was a coward.
Finally, she stopped again, hearing a growling noise that was definitely threatening.
Ronon stopped when she did and looked at her. “What?”
“I heard something,” Jen whispered, her voice high-pitched with fear. “It sounded like some sort of alien creature.”
“I’m sure it’s just your imagination,” Ronon told her.
“I think we should leave.”
