They were out of water.
Even Teal’c had admitted that this was a bad thing. In Sam’s mind, if something bad was admitted by the stoic Jaffa, that was when you started to worry.
Still, “A human being can survive for three days without water,” she said bracingly to her companion. “I’m sure it’s longer for a Jaffa, especially since you have plenty of tretonin.”
Teal’c frowned. “I am not sure it would be worthwhile for me if I survived and you died, Colonel Carter.”
Sam had to sigh. Teal’c was sometimes far too brutally honest for his own good.
