7 silver: important

Okay, I have a conundrum.

RIT's campus safety has decided they hate us. For portions of the story, see here(http://lissa-dora.livejournal.com/428184.html). In short, our reservations (for all LARPs, not just for 7 Silver, although they seem to care much more about the Friday LARPs than those on Saturdays) have been canceled. While RWAG's advisor is in the process of getting this all straightened out, during the summer this is a very slow process.

While some of the more belligerent members of our gaming circle have suggested playing anyway (which we've bene doing for several weeks, between 7 Silver and Forgotten Dreams), confronting Campus Safety head-on, or other, well, belligerent suggestions, I am unwilling to risk ruining an already tenuous situation - and, as I'm neither RIT alum nor a student, I'm very unwilling to risk getting kicked off campus.

I'm aware this situation sucks entirely. I'm also aware this is short notice.

My current ideas are either to run at a park - we may get kicked out at 11, but at least we won't be antagonizing RIT - or to simply run scenes at dinner, which lacks the, well, Live-Action part of LARPing.

elasmo suggests North Ponds Park, in Webster, or Greece Canal Park, but for everyone but us and DB, who doesn't play anyway, that's quite a hike. Does anyone else have a suggestion? I'd prefer not Genesee Park, as it's creepy after dark, and they already hate us at Calkins Road Park.

7silver, bibbit
