Thinking of the thousands of smart-but-pretty 90's (80's?) stereotypes I've seen in the media - do you think smart women always feel a need to overcompensate?

Why are so many of my (male) friends mysogynists? Are they really, or are they hurt and lashing out at that which hurt them?

Why do women who are hurt by men not become the opposite, become man-haters? Do they? I hope I do not so obnoxiously go around saying "all boys do this." (Do I?))

Can a metrosexual be manly? How does the prettyboy steroetype clash with the smart-but-pretty girl? Do men find capablity(skill, the general feeling of being capable) and/or intelligence in women sexy? What about in other men?

What is it about pigtails?
